There is nothing better for a human being than having animals in our lives. They are so intelligent & have such goody & great senses of humor. They can be the best part of any day & make us feel wonderful no matter how upset or down we are. We just need to embrace rhe fact that they are so much more than so many of us think they are. They're sources of pure joy & love if we choose to see them for the awesome beings they are. Bravo for sharing this with us.

As a child, I grew up dreaming of someday owning a Maine Coon. Enter Jack, who I adopted in 2008. He has exceeded all my expectations. I love him sooo much. He's also been a nanny cat to other rescues, includong kittens, dogs, bunnies along the way.

I just can’t live without my boy… I don’t know get through this. I know it’s the last days I just wish he could tell me!!! When he’s bad he’s had tears in his eyes but then 1/2 hour later he’s trying to play with his ball and telling me off and then is asking for treats even though he’s really wobbly on his feet. He has such a big heart!!!! And literally. He has an enlarged heart, kidneys are going because of meds and now the left lobe of his liver is enlarged. He’s not crying at all verbally from pain but he’s struggling to breath because his lungs haven’t much room. Im so torn because I will do EVERYTHING ANYTHING FOR HIM. Im worried he’s hanging on for me because I just don’t know how I will go on without him… but I WILL NOT LET HIM SUFFER. This is not about me but him. If it hadn’t been for Bailey I wouldn’t be grass side up… he is my life. He’s a Maltese only 11 3/4 years. I’m trying not to cry in front of him but it’s so hard because I wont leave his side. He’s sleeping next to me now from the gabapentin I just gave him about 2 hours ago. If anyone has any advice it would be so hugely appreciated. I’m a 57 yr old girl, on disability and have an extremely fragile mental state. This Dr. Is so kind and thoughtful I just wish I had him to talk to. I have the most beautiful kind vet and have made arrangements for him to come here to my home if Bailey doesn’t pass naturally. I am going to have him come and I’m going to be in bed with my baby and hold him as Doc helps him transition to the other side. I’m hoping my Grandparents and my Brother and Uncles will be there to help him go easily. Please please God help him go peacefully and please help me to make the decision if I have to. Omg I am dying myself. My Bailey Bailey Boy!!! My TEUE SOULMATE ❤❤❤

Queen Elizabeth II quoted this in a comforting speech to families and friends of 9/11 victims. There are many videos on KZread about grief. Maybe some will give you comfort. Take care. 💕

@@curiouscanuck you are so very very kind my friend :) and truer words were never spoken… My Bailey, my boy, passed on Labour Day morning in my arms in our bed. He told me at 3:57am that it was time, he had to go. I called the vet at 5 and he arrived at 10:45. His time of passing was 11:14am, his birthdate November 14. There are no coincidences. I am sooooooo grateful for having such a beautiful, precious soul, a little being of pure light and love. I was absolutely blessed. So I understand that when I was so blessed to have him I must endure the pain that follows without him here. It feels like hell, and hell is so very cold and deafeningly quiet. I am so grateful for your kind words… the kindness of a stranger is strangely very comforting and I thank you 🙏 ♥️. The loss of the Legend who is Bailey who touched so many people’s lives and made even my biggest baddest biker friends cry 😭 🥰 his loss I know I will NEVER EVER get over. I will just have to learn to live with it. Sending you back much love and gratitude for this note as I was just sitting here quietly envisioning him in the yard on this beautiful day. 🙏

The intelligence of that Border Collie that saved the pup from the reversing car is amazing!! I don't think people realize just how much. She saw a situation developing, she correctly deduced the possible outcome, and acted decisively, and extremely fast I might add, to save the day. Way smarter than a lot of humans I know.
