I said the same thing a few minutes ago. I like when dads spend time with their kids but to play with their kids like they are just dolls is wrong. I have seen so many videos where i questioned if those fathers are aware that their kids are living, breathing beings.

@@katieb5707 i used to do the same with my daughter and she used to enjoy to her heartful. She studies in 10th standard now. But she still lament for those wonderful days. When she started to talk, she one day told hee mommy that my retirement day will be her happiest day, because then she can play with me the full day.

@@notcrazy6288 Umm generalizing. It is about choices. I have two sisters who chose not to have children, and didn't want them, they are in their late 40's and do not regret it at all. Their husbands also have no desire for children. My brother has 4 because he and his wife wanted 4, and my other sister has 2. Not everyone wants to have children, and children should be wanted and not here by chance but by choice. You sound like one of those religious fanatics who think their opinions and views are the right ones and should be the only thing that matters.

My father wasn't there for me, but I will be there for my kids.

My Goddaughter was, I think 5 at the time. Stopped by to see her at her grandparents house. Took all the stuff out my pockets, and took a flying leap into the pool, fully dressed. By the way, do you know difficult it is to swim in combat boots? Anyway the girls thought it was hilarious. So that made my day. About 6, 7 months later my buddy's wife called me. Apparently my Goddaughter randomly started laughing her ass off for about 15-20 minutes, and couldn't stop. When she finally wound down, her mom asked her what was so funny? My Goddaughter replied, "Uncle Jack! He's so crazy! He jump in the pool with him's clothes, and hat, and even shoes! He's crazy!" And proceeded to laugh her ass off for another 10 minutes. You gotta love kids.

@@null360 I don't know why, but kids and pets have always gravitated to me. I have no idea what that's about. When I was a little kid, I used to dig holes at the beach. I don't know why, I just did. Kids doing kid things. Next thing I knew, I'd be a in 3 foot deep hole, and 20 other boys were looking to get in on the action. They had no idea why I was digging a hole, (hell, I didn't know why I was digging a hole). They just wanted to get involved.

My daughters are in high school now. I had those moments with them when they were babies. I hope I live long enough to see my grandchildren to relive those moments again before I kick the bucket.

Seeing this brings a special kind of pain that only comes when you never experienced the greatness that is to have a father.

I know right? Often I can't believe the things I have to hear from others cell phones. What's weirder is when they're looking right at you as they say things or walking by impervious to you, children, others, cars, environments, everything !!! When it gets too in my face or space I on rare occasions will engage myself in their conversations 😂. Some check themselves... others go off on/in a huff. Consider that 😜 ' my bad ' LOL

I can very much remember when my two wonderful nieces (my sister and brother-in-law's daughters) were both tiny babies as if it were yesterday. I know I may not be a father yet (I fully intend to be one day), but if you manage to get close enough to them as an uncle then the experiences you have can be very similar to that of a father and daughter. I can remember singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat to my older niece when she was a baby and rocking her back and forth while doing it and she used to love it a lot. I can also remember having my younger niece fall asleep on my chest around Christmas time a few years ago and that was also a lovely experience as she had been crying for a good while and my sister asked me to help out so I did. Ellie and Jess are now nine and seven year old beautiful girls in primary school respectively and I guess it is true what they say about time flying when you are having fun!

i'm not a Dad but do plan on being one in the future and i'm about to be 25 next month, but I did get my teachers (then 1 year old now 2 years old) son to laugh back in November on zoom at a dance move I learned from a vine haha 😁😅😄😂, i'm not lying I heard him laugh along with a girl in my class 😁, also what came into my head after I heard him laugh was, "I'm gonna be a great parent when i'm older"
