Fun fact about Ozzy, he was actually born with an extremely rare 1 in like 7 million people condition where he has an extreme tolerance to drugs and alcohol. Mostly alcohol, as evident during one point of his life where he consumed 2x times the amount of alcohol that would kill a person, DAILY.

Best fucking meme

The radio in my car is usually tuned into a hard rock or metal station. I usually switch it to something else for my friends that I know don’t like it. However, I once had a friend tell me not to change the channel and introduce him to more metal. The only issue was that I had another person in the car that had to deal with listening to Knocked Loose for a moment. He might be slightly traumatized. Oh well.

What did we learn today? The words "I like metal" don't have to mean "I live and breath the grimiest shit imaginable" because what like every genre, metal is fucking HUGE. Remember that there was a time when Metal meant hair bands to most people. One of my favorite moments on Reddit was r/progmetal collectively being like "oh, you posted Avenged Sevenfold? I don't really give a shit how you classify this, it's cheesy fun and they're good musicians."

I Love that the progmetal vibe is Just "ye do whatever as Long as it Sounds interesting." I mean i even have some non prog Songs in my prog Playlist because the vibe fits. (My Favoriten examples being pisces by jinjer)

Jared has not been funny for a while imo and his recent controversies have tainted him quite a bit. Nik seems a lot more genuine and more in-tune with our humor so that's why he's huge now.

there is one dude who i work with who loves metal. It is all he can talk about. If you talk about any other interest around him, his brain crashes. the thumbnail reminds me of him, because if I say any metal band that I like, he will make sure I am listening to the “correct” metal bands. 😂 this is kinda why I have branched out to other genres of music

A good chunk of my playlist is Finnish folk metal, no idea what they're saying other than get drunk.

I'm a girl who finally found one ok looking iron maiden shirt (their shirts mostly look too much for school) and been wearing it around recently. Since then I have found out that my boring-looking math teacher was a metal head and named her dog "iron maiden" when she was young, a worker at school love them and have a huge book about them (he insisted on showing it to me), got approval from other girls with metal shirts and so on. Interesting.

That "I like metal too" meme is so accurate. Whenever we get a new person at my job, I ask if they're into metal and they're like "Yeah, metal is cool." Then I have to warn them that I don't mean Metallica, because we're about to summons demons from how hard we're about to go. Only then do they understand what I meant. 😂

This was more entertaining than I was expecting. "paradox malfunction... if it doesn't suck it's not metal. if it's entertaining it doesn't suck." Does entertaining metal have a quantum superposition of sucking and not sucking at the same time? Or have we all been lied to and some metal is actually good and nobody wants to admit it?
