This album is fantastic!!! I listened to it twice through and still couldn't get enough. I especially enjoyed "No One" a cool funky joint. "Brain System" is an amazing piece with great arrangement and style blends. Other "fire tracks" are "Feminist" and of course "Funky Smell" I enjoyed it so much i had to go back and listen to her other albums and i was blown away by "Funk You", and my favorite cut "Spark" JUNA YOU ARE ON FIRE GIRL!!! Keep it up and PLEASE come to play in the USA

Their Jazz Funk Sound is off the Hook!

I love the enthusiastic joy each musician has for their comrades, especially Rina's love for Juna's solos. They all are having so much fun! It's high octane groove that makes you want to move

Akina Sakata and Harumi Imai are superb alto and tenor sax players! The drummer Momoko is awesome power house. The guitarist Chizuru Segawa really did it good, Of Course Juna Serita is a top bass player and can play the bass runs perfectly. Yuka Tsutsumi on keyboards is great with all rhythms and chords! You girls were out of this world with this performance. Blues Alley is lucky to have you perform at this club! There is no dout... This all Girl band is one of the Tightest I have heard. This girl on the Drums is a huge FUNKY drummer; she makes it happen. I always KNEW she was the one. J.p.

I really have to get to Japan to see her perform live. I really love this group and the way they perform. I would love to perform with them.

When Juna wrote this masterpiece I'm quite sure she was paying homage to those great Jazz/ Funk/ Soul bands who dominated urban radio & the soundtracks of Blaxploitation movies in the 70's like AWB, The JB's ( James Brown's backup band), Kool & The Gang, BT Express & Tower Of Power etc etc etc)..they mastered this!!

Many talented musicians in Japan and now I have to add Yuka, Akina, & Momoko to my list.

band is fire!!! That sax player though!! Like how she puts that leg up when she's on them riffs! "Cutie", Good stuff; long live the funk!

I'm familiar with Juna, Harumo, Chizuru and would like to see more of the band especially Momoko.

This will inspire more ladies to get into the groove. As a male and a lover of jazz fusion, thanks for sharing your passions and talents.

Funk ambassador to all cultures

You are all fantastic, and your rhythm section couldn't be moved by a tsunami, but I have to give a shoutout to the unsung hero here. Whoever your sound engineer is; you aren't paying them enough. The mix is supernaturally clean for a live gig. We're not worthy.

I'll say the younger generation are super tight, as they have so much music, and learning tools that weren't always available, that's awesome in and of itself. The main difference beside technicality, or originality, is the life that one had to live then versus now. Before the Internet you had to study a thing in earnest without all the cheat codes and overall accessibility. Also, life was much harder, and it translated to more sincerity and intensity.

That is my kind of funky sax playing. Great combo and great song!
