What I like most about this is the fact that he plays each note well, not just quickly. Each note has a clear start, stop, and purpose, and he positions his left hand solidly every single time ... especially at 4:07 ... that's special. ::curtseys::

Bass teachers always recommend Jacco, Victor etc but damn If I ever taught bass I would 100% show them Remco. You do a great job at showing how versatile bass can be and have a very unique bass style. There's a lot a bassist can learn by watching these videos.

Holy crap that is some funky bass, right up there with all my favorite bassists. awesome!!!

I've just figured out what I'm doing for the rest of the year - rewatching this shit at .25 speed to figure out how the hell to play this beautiful madness.

I've watched this over & over and I still get a giggle and thrill to view such fun talent on the BASS!

Remco has a unique but highly effective technique, playing with thumb and index finger as he does. Dude’s got badass chops and lays down some smokin’ FUNK.

watched this like 23487 times. that thumb and index finger muted triplet is such an interesting style. this guy's such a boss.

Just as important as this guys technique is his sound. Both are awesome.

Really well done! Very musical and rhythmic! Just fun to listen to...thereby easily demonstrating how much fun it is to play the bass. Keep on keepin' on!

God his thumb his control is incredible! The super fast down picks with this thumb and so on.. his finger style is pretty legendary and it's something unique and I like it more than I thought it would, has a good hook and all that too
