You can find him in the background of different shots 0:58 he scurries away when the Gunner looks down at the abandoned pod, 1:21 when the gunner lands on the blast fungus and at 1:40 if ur quick you can catch his name (Glyphid Georg) and the name of his former squadmates; Steeve Demayo (The name on the dog tags in Steeve's mouth), Pun Name, and Carl

So many blink-and-you’ll-miss-it details that make rewatching all the more fun! Loved “please remove the FUCKING AXE from the central processor”

I love how they hear beeping, instantly think "Ooo, free loot!" Then remember they're playing a salvage mission where beeping is commonplace, and just entirely miss the loot at the end

Which is why it's good to know your beeps! The mini M.U.L.E.s sound is more a beeping, whereas crate batteries and helmets are more chirps. With helmets being slower than an individual batteries chirps

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there should definitely be more shorts about the dwarves messing around and this is PRECISELY what it should be. The memes about stuff like the goosack and WE'RE RICH, Management hating our guts, and dwarves dying to their clips running dry and gravity long before they actually die at the hand of any glyphid. You've captured the feel of a few numbskulls in space trying to survive a hostile planet and laughing their butts off as Management needs another drink.

That's a nice detail with the Bet-c, cargo crate, and lost equipment there, visible in half a frame.

Love how you can see driller at 00:56 - 01:00, 01:13 and at 1:21 just skulking around... Oh, and you can see at 01:39 he's called Glyphids Georg. Nice touch

@@tinymicrowave6821 nah, the driller is Glyphids George. He is the only one who has a connection lost status instead of no vital signs. Also being a survivalist is probably how he is still alive.

I love the fact this kind of implies Mission Control's announcements are what attract the bugs... 😹

Oh wow, this truly is perfect. The pack/crate/BET-C thing that turns out to be the mini MULE (and that payoff at the end), the accurate LOK-1 during several scenes with just an actual eye strapped to it instead of a camera, the depiction of Salvage missions - incredible. The worldbuilding and quality of each joke is impressively deep. Details like the fuel cell beacon, the cosmetics on the dwarves in a single shot on the rig and accurate beers/effects, the zipline embedded in the pod coming with it, and the hole in the rig window from the balloon animation. This channel is just gold.

It’s funny that in between you posting WiP clips of this and posting the final video I actually got into DRG so now I can understand the jokes!

A rescue mission that actually saved a dwarf! They might be the most annoying crew on the rig, but they did a heros job this time around. And now they have a full team to boot, love how this crew is developing. I'll stick around to see where they go.

A search and rescue mission would be a really cool mission

the moment I saw the fuel line spell out "suck my ass", I knew this video was made by somebody who knows DRG very well. ROCK AND STONE BROTHER!

A awesome animation with so many cool things in it! Here a a few i found: 0:15 - 0:18 You can see one of the lost dwarfs skeletons. In the fight from 0:45 - 0:50 you can see a Leaf Lover mug, a error cube, Engie's right Glove, a frog, Steeve, Scouts helmet and a gold chunk fly out of the cloud. At 0:58 and 1:21 you can see the only survivor of the drop pod At 1:35 behind Mining accident is the dwarf from Launch Bae. At 1:40 you can shortly see the crew manifest with: Steeve Demayo (Shield explert) [No vital signs] Glyphids Georg (Survivalist) [Connection lost] Pun Name (Punchline Lob Role) [No vital signs] Carl (Not the guy your thinking of) [No vital signs] The error screen at 2:21 You can see that all of them were right at 2:27 The drop pod at 2:30 has Gunners Zipline with mushroom from 1:42 2:35 Lootbug plush Tell me if i missed some!

I watched this, then rewatched Hollow Bough, then watched this again to realize this is a direct continuation of the "mining accident" at the end of Hollow Bough. Amazing tie-in.

The glyphid crossing itself hoping not to get target locked at 1:51 got me.

The horn playing backwards as it docks back into the space rig was so good!

I can confirm that Steeve feels like a baby/dog to me when I play. (I felt sad when my first Steeve died, even though it’s expected for them to do so)

gotta say, while the perk isn't used often, unstoppable makes plenty of stuns and slowdowns a ton more bearable like after I went from my usual build having it to randoweiser which might or might not have it, the pain that is fungus bogs goo slowdown is really noticeable

Mistaking the Mini M.U.L.E beeping for a skin crate or a bet-c is way too relatable

This is just beautiful. I've laughed at this for 5 hours now. Joke aside, I've come back to this for probably the 9th time now, just because this is so perfect. The sentence mixing, the animation, the little jokes only someone who actually plays DRG would understand. Marvellous.

Nice just got into deep rock galactic, actually had a game yesterday where I carried my team as driller so I can attest axe representation is pretty accurate.

The fuel cells dangling from the drop pod like truck nuts is fantastic.

A tv show based on DRG would be so fun

The battery line spelling "fuck my ass" got me good. Amazing video. Love it.

Just noticed all the links between this and the Hollow Bough video: the video starting with the sounds heard at the end of the previous mission, scout missing the lower half of his mask that fell off in the Hollow Bough, and Mission Control assuming the dwarves are dead after the “mining accident”. Gotta love those attentions to detail

So detail-rich i love this animation. Also the musicwork is very nice.

This. Was. GLORIOUS. The animation was smooth, the expressions and dialogue was hilarious, and it even felt like the dwarves had actual personalities besides just being "the engineer" or "the scout". The voice and dialogue you used for the RIVAL guy was also hilarious! Like if you took any toxic player from *insert popular competitive shooter here* and gave him a job piloting robots.

this vid comes up in my recommendations like every other day, and you know what? who am i to say "no" to this masterpiece?

After finally playing DRG I can now appreciate this more than I did when it was uploaded, this really is the accurate DRG experience.

I love the idea that the rivals are just little green marsians, not even a classic fantasy race like everyone has been assuming
