Salaam I’m a little confused doesn’t the Quran contain metaphorical stories? Doesn’t ambiguous mean metaphorical? Hope you can shed some light

“Ambiguous” means ‘not clear’ or ‘dubious’ (double talk). Allah says the Qur’an is a clear book. All of the Qur’an is Ummul-Kitab (Mother of the Book). Your mother taught you lessons that contained plain talk and metaphors and you understood BOTH clearly. If she told you not to tell your little brother that she was planning on goving him a surprise birthday party but you told him anyway, she might ask you why you “let the cat out the bag?”. But there was no physical cat or physical bag, it was a metaphor, however, it was NOT ambiguous. 😊

Salamun alaykum brother, I have 3 major concerns with this lesson, and I try to mention them despite my respect for you and the things I could learn from you. 1. You gave Ramadan a bad connotation. But I see that it is contrasted to sickness (marada) because it is a kind of cure especially for the hearts diseases (even the consonental connection between ramadan and remedy) 2. Ambiguity isnt that bad as you draw it and to me it is quite understandable, that Allah swt also uses ambigue or allegorical language to communicate us. First to adress everyone according to his own capacities and second to test us who is really striving to improve his understanding. 3. I wouldnt say that rituals have no benefit. Human societies and especially the spiritual seekers within always and ever since practiced rituals to reach conditions of thoughtlesssness and the state of universal awareness. To me and to so many others the islamic prayer is a gift from Allah taking us at least 2 to 5 times a day out of the realm of this world a little bit closer to eternity. It settles, regulates and calmes down. Maybe you dont have good experiences with it, but it makes me sad if you keep on going to belittle it and to call it a pagan invention from the persians. There are if course elements in the common salat I also doubt to be right and avoid, but the main concept is beneficial to our human soul if done of ones free will and intentionally. I know you not mean to please the people or to hurt someones feelings but to speak out truth. But you should keep in mind that the Truth is bigger than to be packed up in a youtube learning course or any humans speech. Please dont scare me away 🙏
