someone got me with this combo in my WR. He ran lost in the depths to kill 2 mana cost cards and was left with his combo pieces (schoolteachers) and a 0 cost form of unity to finish off... I went down smiling, coz i'm always happy when people play new decks instead of copying everyone with anubian death or whatever latest meta is.

Anubian Deck expensive version is sort of a farcry for a commoner. Apocalypse now, land of dead, deoigorgons and neferu are all expensive cards

Correcting my previous post. Immaterialize doesn't work very well as it must be played on the same turn as Schoolteachers. Which means it must be made into a 0 cost first. More difficult combo, takes more time to set it up, need more protection and sustain, similar to a Dralamar deck. If it can work at all.

Anything that can draw cards, or potentially just put in some shaped blasts if you want to extend the games and give yourself more time to get the combo set up

Yeah Lightning Talisman is annoying, you could run an Iron Tooth in the deck if you're worried about it

It takes a while to set this up. Nature or War fast decks could kill you off before that

The number of 1 mana creatures is too damn high! Challenge here is to pull the Clone. Maybe Clone and Immaterialize could go in the same deck, to reduce the variance. You get one or the other, same thing. Still better to pull Immaterialize than to not pull a clone card at all. Right?

Hm maybe! Maybe include the Fox then too to reduce Immaterialize to 0 mana, as 3 mana needed on the same turn as the OTK is a big ask

i do not understand how to use immaterialize, you use in the warp engineer?

Play teacher, play immaterial, play more teacher. In order to make this sequence cheaper, use Fox or Engineer to make Immaterialize cheaper/free

You can do it turn 4: T1: Deal 2 dmg to face with a 1 Mana spell. T2: Warp Engineer a Teacher. T3: Bag, Clone, Clone T4: 4x Teachers for 2 Mana + cardshark

Could you combo school teacher with beam sentry instead of cardshark? practically the same dmg but summons one less creature edit: i now see the flaw in my idea.

Holy crapajoly, if i was the other guy i would uninstall the game. Which i have done multiple times and multiple nervous breakdowns

Combo decks can be fine but this one is too fast and consistent. I think school teacher will be nerfed, but I think Dralamar if far more annoying, and consistent, and I don't think that one will be nerfed sadly

Yeah I think this does need to be nerfed slightly, it's a little too fast, though it's not that consistent (yet)

Well whoever let the spellslinging deck get past with no nerf needs a bullet.... 30 damage with zero ways to respond in almost all decks, zero interaction, zero fun to play against. If this is the future of the game it wont survive. If I want to play by myself there are much better games.

Yeah they are aware that no one likes the new solitaire combo T5 nonsense decks out there now. The question is how will they respond this week, should be a new balance patch.

@@CopperPitch that's good hopefully they act. I wouldn't mind if it could do 20 damage or so but it can do over 30 damage so even a warded god dies. Maybe spellslinger should damage a random enemy character instead of the god only.

The deck reminds me of some blue decks on the mtg. I would love to play the deck ( as a new player i cant, less than 2 days on the game). True that i wouldnt like to play agains it.
