Man, every time I see a new one of these Miata videos makes me wish I never pulled my engine. Whole chain reaction happened leaving it completely burned down. Seeing it on those jack stands is really heart breaking. Pro tip: make sure you have all your fuel lines PROPERLY capped off before trying to weld. Learned the hard way.

That special RTV is more for the coolant/antifreeze than the water. You could prop pop-rivet something over the hole as well, just depends how creative you wanna get.

Engine looks good bro. Keep on smashing. Put a piece of carbon fiber sheet over the hole below the cam pulleys, where the water pump was deleted.

before you install turbo stuff: bend the heater core line, the hard line that goes next to the exhaust manifold towards the dipstick tube allot of downpipes get super close to the rubber hose that comes off the end of it

Sam - that blue aluminum oil feed fitting, no bueno. Mine developed a crack immediately and leaked, not from over tightening. Grab a steel fitting for peace of mind. *DM'd you link to steel fitting*

Hey man, not sure if you do this but, I pre prime the oil galleries with a pump weed sprayer with oil into the oil pressure sensor spot. Gets oil pressure up quickly before you start the beast.

The waste gate color throws it all off

Hi Sam engine looks great , will you not have to change the throttle position switch to a variable one , the standard 1.6 miata switch is just a on and off ?

Mine makes 260hp on E85 I'm stoked to see how much power you can get out of that thing

This is random, but do you know of any license plate relocation brackets / kits for NA Miatas? Or does anyone else here know of any? The Garage Star ones have been out of stock everywhere I've checked and the other options seem to be pricey (over $50). I'm not a handy person either, which is why I was hoping someone could recommend a bracket / kit for me.
