Great fight. Rocha hit near the back of the head. Right on the side. Check out the last sequence of punches that stopped the fight. Cobbs needs lessons in defense. Head movement is not going to work for everyone, especially close range....

Cobbs is a tough fighter too all action. Rochia walked through him. Good fight

I remember watching this fight and thinking the match up was great for boxing. Rocha coming off the loss and Cobbs needing a statement. That punch from Rocha at 15:00 - 15:05 was absolute class, cobbs took it like a champ but was forsure hurt from it. That punch alone would have knocked down 75% of the welterweight division.

Rocha is tailor made for Haney. He would keep coming forward and getting countered by Haney. The majority of his power shots he would miss and just get completely outboxed. Wouldn't even be close.

Cobbs hit the REF with 2 or 3 body shots with NOTHING on them... GREAT stoppage.. Cobbs just graduated to "journeyman" status... he will be the guy OTHER guys beat to "get the title shot"... if he was WHITE 100% I'd say he's the next Gatti, but Cobbs won't get the OPPORTUNITIES Gatti REPEATEDLY was given, although he didn't EARN them or DESERVE them.. he made other guys (like Floyd) look AMAZING while beating him down.

Salut, Guy!! ...to be honest , Blair Cobbs is not a .bad boxer.,the way he hit is special, but, sometimes he give me the impression that he's not serious about what happen in the ring. A change in attitude wouldn't be bad too! Arturo Gatti was a rare case of charisma for many, many boxing fans but, i would say, he was a bit more " down on earth" if you compare him with others , but the 2 of them are good boxers.....from Montréal (PS Floyd was a little heavier than Arturo Gatti, I remember the fight very well)

Yeah Blair didn't win a round. There were rounds he just barely threw punches, he's definitely not a champion level fighter.
