I understand this is all bespoke. However should you be able to step up with the proper amount of ready cash could/would they build another or close?

I live in a country known for yacht and boat building New Zealand I’ve seen a lot in my 74yrs,but this Lady is truly beautiful,i tip my hat to the owner for their taste to the builders for their craftsmanship and the designers for their imagination.May all who sail in her enjoy and be safe on their voyages.

What an absolute piece of nautical art. 150 years from now someone will be doing a walk though on this boat explaining it's origin, it's past owners, where it's been, what other boat builds it inspired. Stunning craftsmanship.

I want to congratulate the owner and the builders for creating an absolutely stunning piece of art. When some dude drives by in a flashy Lambo that requires him to get his flabby belly in and out of it in privacy - we make think about word rhyming with "anchor" + a W. We rarely do when a gentleman takes out his beloved E-type. We may see someone flashing a million dollars by wearing a much-hyped, in our face, Richard Mille on the wrist. I instantly like the gentleman who instead subtly wears his A. Lange&Söhne. Perhaps the finest thing about this yacht is that we know it belongs to a person who loves the sea. Who loves his yacht - without needing 27 crew-members to make sure a glass of juice is ready when waking up on a floating mansion. Maybe a captain/engineer next to owners cabin. But certainly not a person needing to maids to change the bedsheets. Most of us do not have enough disposable millions, but one can admire when someone shows class. And I wish her and her owner welcome to our Norwegian shores at any time. Also because I have a feeling that when some old Norwegian wooden boat owner comes by and say "congratulations" - the owner will probably not think "poor pleb far below me" - but instead reply "thank you". This is one of the yachts in the world that actually may improve the visual qualities of Norwegian fiords. To make Slartibartfast proud is one huge achievement (for readers). Godspeed.

wow. this yacht is one of the most beautiful i have ever seen . i really think the bigger yacht builders have something to learn here . just stunning .

As retired yacht carpenter , it’s the varnishers that make us look good, this Beauty will be a pampered girl her whole life . And suggestion for the owner , It’s best to know your varnisher’s birthday and favorite restaurant for gift certificates.

JuiceMan - our yachts left to their new owners with 5-7 plus coats of varnish . Google “CH marine Runabout” and it really depends on location , west coast 2-3 varnish coats a season . East coast about the same except Florida 3-5 coats a season...

I am so impressed with the fact that yacht designers are taking a tone from the classic past. This is one of the most beautiful yachts I've ever seen, I'm in love!

Absolutely stunning. Really stands out from all the new style boats. This one looks timeless it will age well like a fine wine. Well done spirit yachts. And congratulations to the owner.

Spirit has an even larger motor yacht on the drawing board, another stunningly beautiful design which, like the P70, harks back to the days of real style. It makes me glad that we have someone who has the wherewithall to order such an outstanding example of craftmanship, and a yacht builder that can deliver it.

Bloody hell. That's a new classic. Initially I thought she looked a bit squat and could use more height, but those lines and that interior just make you want to swill a couple of pink gins and then race to Dunkirk to rescue the Army. She's stunning.

Congratulations to designers, engineers, and builders on this beautiful boat. I want one.

Looks like the yacht of a superhero. This yacht is going to be in a movie, for sure.

This design is so sophisticated yet feels so ancient, almost timeless.

This is one of the most beautiful amalgamations of classic and contemporary styling I've seen in any object. Not just on a boat.

That’s a beautiful boat that’s going to require a lot of maintenance especially for the upkeep of all the timber finish. I would not let anyone wear jewellery that would scratch the wood work on board. Love the engine room space. She really is a beautiful boat. You are right no stone is left unturned. I just love that you can cover the required distance of choice without refueling. That’s the number one issue to consider when you build a boat.

This in my opinion is better than all the pershing's, sunseekers, princesses, etc. This has so much class and is just a work of art

It is something different. There are builders who do bespoke boats. Some builders in NE USA do the same (Rybovich/Spencer/Bayliss/Jarrett Bay etc) and also a couple builders in Italy like Camuffo or Sangermani did something similar, and I am sure a couple Dutch builder possibly more in metal have something up there sleeve as well. Just to name a few names. That is meaning that if you want a Pershing / Sunseeker etc you are not looking for this boat, and you are looking for something bespoke you do not look at Pershing/Sunseeker. At the least you will be looking at a Riva.

Why compare so different boats? Pershing is like a Ferrari, its best at what it does, you cannot "opinion" away the 50knots top speed of the 7x. If the 7x was meant to be a classic wooden boat the

Now this is what I call the Lady of the Sea. Graceful, unique and one of a special kind. All that beautiful varnished wood, the silver fittings mixture of old and new engines, radar, the fidls for the engine, fin stabishers the crane and Williams rib boat, the craftsmanship this is what sailing should be about, bespoke and exquisite detailing. She is a joy to behold lucky you getting to review her.

This has to be one of the most beautiful boats (yacht) i have ever seen. The combination of wood vs. white is perfect. The proportions are perfect.

I by-passed this video when it first came out as i thought it didn't look interesting, i was very much mistaken. What a beauty, a truly wonderful craft, exquisitely made. A credit to her builders and owners taste.

Me and my father sail in the Solent (where this boat is kept) and it’s just one of those things that no matter how many times you’ve seen it, it still takes your breath away. Nothing less than beautiful.

Absolutely stunning. Takes me back to sailing with my grandad on his 34ft sailing yacht. There’s a big price difference but Spirit have kept so many little traditional sailing touches it still feels like a classic sailing yacht. I’d love to own one of these.

Beautiful yacht. Being all wood I can’t imagine keeping all that varnish looking good. The sun just bakes a finish like that. But what a work of art! Her builder and owner sure came up with a beauty.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Couldn't have said it better. This is what I would get it I had the money.

When seaworthiness and reliability take the front seat, the design - at least in my view - comes out naturally beautiful. It is also a testament to this fine boat's naval architect, that many details could be included.What is at first sight functional also exudes a timeless elegance.

What a proper cruising yacht. That boat is absolutely gorgeous. I honestly don't think I could come up with a word that describes how great this boat looks. The only thing I would change is to add a walk-in closet and a bigger master suite. When I was just showing this to my wife and when you gave a guess on the cost of it her ears perked up. We paid double that for our current boat. And then when you showed the master cabin that's when she stopped watching with me. Tomorrow I'm still going to reach out to my broker and see if he can make contact with the manufacturer and perhaps we will order one. I really want a cruising boat. My wife is more about how the outside looks first and then the wow factor when you walk in. This boat you are showing has both of those. I love that desk behind him. I wish more boat manufacturers would add them back in. Pretty much these days you only see that in sailboats for some reason. What I like to do is go old school. I have every electronic bell and whistle that you can possibly stick in a boat. I like going by my charts and figuring out my course and use the compass. A lot of times when I take delivery of a new boat the first thing I look at is the compass and if it is not the one I'm used to they change it out right then and there. For whatever reason boat manufacturers don't understand when you rate something you want that's all you want not whatever they decide to give you. I hope to see more boats like this from you. I'd love the old look with a new body underneath. Great video look forward to your next one.

I’m not much of a fan of Nick’s videos. He is far more interested in explaining which head is to be used by which cabin, rather than talking about the engines and performance. Seems like a nice fellow though.

@@trailerparksupervisor7046 reason I like his videos are they show all areas. I'd rather see the engine room and crew areas than hear the specs and service interval of the equipment, so many boats have impractical engine rooms and barely anyone shows full access to the boats

An absolutely fantastic combination of the modern and the classic. Beautiful. And I'm sure it will be the envy of many owners of bigger and more expensive superyachts.

I know nothing much about boats, but this piece of work looks really exquisite and deserves a place quite high up with some of the best in the world. The fact that it's been made almost entirely out of wood makes it all the more special, worth every penny. Keep it up Spirit P70, shine on your voyages!

This magnificent build, the Spirit, is stunning. The Zeelandia from Holland is another sublime build. These are this mans two favorites by far.

Absolutely the finest motor yacht I have ever seen, Classic Elegance and Beauty, it simple doesn't get better. My idea of perfection.

Dude this ship is amazing, I do enjoy a good modern boat, but they get old with all similar looks, however this one went a whole different direction and it's beautiful, thank you for showing us this yacht.

Favorite so far... detail is stunning. Their sailboats are just as beautiful...

She's beautiful 😍 A real, living embodiment of what a pocket explorer should be!

My Late Uncle built his own boat behind Southampton Amateur Rowing Club, by the Itchen River in the Itchen Ferry Village area (now classed in Woolston) in the early 80s. I loved watching the various build stages. Although injected moulded etc. The finish, esp the teek was amazing, and beautiful. I was so thrilled to go out on her maiden voyage. I knew then I wanted to goto sea. I left school at 1ř06 and joined the Jnr Ldrs Royal Artillery in 1988. I wanted the Army Maritime unit. I got injured, so came out. I then reinlisted into RCT Maritime on Army Landing Craft and Mexeflote rafts and small fast ribs patrol boats and tugs. I did 3 great years. Very long story so won't type all lol. I broke my back doing a charity parachute jump in 03 on a weekend off from pre selection build up for SAS Sigs Sqn TA. So jumping to the present. Im laid up 99.9% of the time. So last yr I started watching superyacht Walkthrough videos. I now have loads of them in my album. There are some truly amazing vessels. However yours is one of the most beautiful vessels I have ever seen. Im in Southampton, only a few miles from the Hamble, closer to Moodys, as live in Harefield. James at Sunseeker has offered me a tour of their yard once my surgeries are out the way. I also have an invite the CEO of Nordhavn Yachts to visit them at Soton Boat Show. Once my surgeries are done. If you are ever in the Southampton area, I'd love to see her. Being disabled with multiple battles at present, it may be a dreamers Bucket List. Didger :-)

My goodness the craftsmanship is beyond reproach. Its the most beautiful floating gentlemen club/brothel that I've ever seen. Bespoke for the win. Not my kind of puttputt but dear lord the quality !!!

This is hands down, one of the sexiest, most beautiful vessels I have ever seen. No detail has been overlooked. I primarily enjoy classic design but with modern flourishes, technology, and elements. This accomplishes that sublime balance between the two. The color as well...deep, midnight blue with rich woods and plenty of light. I'd perhaps add a few more windows in the master cabin and in a few other places for a bit more light and widen that gorgeous kitchen out. It's a touch narrow. But this thing is second to none all around. This one hits every mark. Well done on all levels. True craftsmanship the way things should be built.

What a wonderful mini ship. A salute to a bygone era. Just a shame that the sleeping accommodation is not a bit more private and larger in size. Surely with this sort of spend the bedrooms could all be made ensuite and more roomy. But at the end of the day it's this owners choice and suites his needs and is a beautiful boat.
