What I like about this machine is how it doesn’t waste time moving from each segment to the next. As soon as the water bottoms out during the drain, it immediately starts spinning. And I still can’t believe after watching these operate for over 10 years that the motor is actually reversing that quickly for agitation. The beef I have with these and all of WP’s lineup now is that they’ve changed the bottom of the basket from a solid, smooth surface, to open structural ribbing, which is why you hear the water being thrashed from underneath during the spin. It’s not only louder, but it’s going to cause a plethora of open spaces for dirt and residue buildup to happen. I guess they thought it was a part they could cheap out on without people noticing, but I can tell right off the bat.

I agree it’s an amazing machine and does what it should do it washes clothes and uses water to do so it’s a really awesome machine. I will be getting the matching dryer in July it’s been ordered
Whirlpool should rename the water level settings on these. It should be Deep Fill=Large or Ex Large High= Medium Medium= Small or low Low= Extra small or ex low. That would have been much more accurate and believable. Regardless, it's a good washer and I'm happy with it. I hope everybody else who buys it is also.
That water level was perfect for that load. The queen comforter load you sometimes do would be pretty fun to test in this machine. And the delicate cycle on any water level other than deep water would be interesting as well.

That water level tortured those shirts that needed to be in deep water.
Excellent wash action. To be expected.
What a fantastic washing machine. Excellent washing agitation.
Just an amazing and adorable washer 😊
Bought one of these 2 week ago. Its the best. I've researched them all including Speed Queen. I use to have a 20+ year old Kenmore Elite. This Maytag Commercial is better quality, parts and better wash than the old Kenmore. The Kenmore was very good, the Maytag is great. I'm just amazed at the turn over each load gets and the full start to finish cycle is around 30 minutes. It does laundry soooo fast. Forget how big the tub is, you can do 3 loads in this washer before the junk front loader HE nonsense we had could finish one. Best washer I've ever had. Its the turn over thats better than Speed Queen TC5. Oh yeah its load as can be, just like the video, but its fun hearing it cause you know its working hard.
Your shirts were tortured in that water level. I don't know how they can call that high water level!
Could you please do a load of two Queen or King size pillows on Normal Eco, Deep Water Wash, Hot Water Temperature, and Extra Rinse with the Downy Ball and a Tide Pod or two? I’d love to see the wash action on some big pillows! That’s a dealbreaker for me. This is already an amazing washer!
King size bedding would be a great video.
Wonderful machine I am going to be getting one soon it’s been ordered 😊👍👊🏻

@@jimsavage7081 Awesome! Thanks!
I have the whirlpool non-vended commercial of this. I like how the Maytag runs the pump after the 1st spin winds down as the water starts coming in. Mine doesn't run the pump. So in effect you do get a little bit of a spray rinse. The whirlpool rinses well though.
This washer is 💯
Deep water wash with towels. I know this machine can handle it, but it want to see how high the deep water level goes. 😉💯
Hi Eugene! Could you please do a load on medium when you get the chance? Since high only filled halfway I'm really wondering what medium is... Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!
I've had the 575 model for the past 3 years and it does a good job. All the Deep Fill cycles filll to the same level, only Nornal does about a half fill. Looks like this new model has a separate low, medium, high and deep fill Water Level selector. Could you do a video showing how much water is filled with each one of those? I guess the internal parts are basically the same. Was there any difference in the Dryer model?
Hey, Lorain, via Live Stream, can I request to see the Normal Cycle with Deep Water, Warm Wash Temperature, Extra Rinse, & Presoak? Presoak, I want to see what the Machine’ll do before it sits for 10 minutes with the Drum full of Water before advancing to Main Wash. Extra Rinse, for the Normal Cycle, I want to see if Extra Rinse’ll do the Deep/Spray Rinse Combo, where 1 Rinse is the Deep Rinse, while the other Rinse is the Spray Rinse.
I have the first generation one. Picked it up the other day for 50 bucks.

You mean the MVWP575GW or the MVWP576KW?
I just purchased this machine based on these wonderful helpful videos. Dó all cycles fill with water for rinse cycle or are some just a spray rinse? Which cycles are what type of rinse? I just did a mixed load and checked rinse cycle and i only had about an inch or 2 of water at bóttom with clothes agitating back n forth. I didnt even see a spray rinse. I rañ a cycle with no clothes and still rinse water only came up about 1-2 inches. Had it set to déep water wash. Is it time to call repair tech already?
Thank you 👍. I just bought the exact machine that was reviewed in this video MVWP586GW .. the Maytag Commercial. It’s being delivered next week. How did you rig it so it keeps running while the lid remains open?

Eugene or anyone, can u plez answer if this is the way my machine should work?? I have recently purchased this model and seems that the delicate load and mixed so far, only give me a couple inches of water for rinse cycles on both delicate and mixed. I have it set to deep water wash and it did fill with deep water for the wash cycle. No spray rinse. Just fills a couple of inches, drains and spins. Had it set for second rinse, did the same! Is this normal? If it is, its terrible and no returns are allowed! Can it be fixed?
After a disastrous pitiful Amana NTW4519JW which did not clean clothes and would agitate dry clothes, my retailer took it back and I ended up with the Maytag MVW586GW. To now have a washer that does what it is suppose to do is a wonderful thing. I have used bulky, mixed, and power wash either with high or deep water. Way shorter cycles than the Amana. I tried the "eco mode" but found that was useless. Still playing with it. Haven't figured out how to do a calibration (or if it needs one) as it is not the same as the non-commercial washers. Love this washer so far plus 5 year parts and labor warranty on this model. The only complaint was the price in Canada plus provincial 15% added on top of that just to get washer that works properly. This may be because I am on well water, but after each wash there is left a brown ring around the tub at the water line that happens only on the stainless steel tub (never happened on porcelain). Easily cleaned with white vinegar though. Not the soap I am using as I did a water only wash to test it and same thing happens.
How does it do with a fur covered comforter?
How do you stop the load and switch to the next water level?
Missed because of school
Can you do a load of face towels and dollar store gloves? For a friend
My only two gripes with this washer is one the water level seemed awfully low like you were saying and two it should cycle the drain pump like LG does with their front loaders.

@@Paul-up3pb You can get a Torx t15 tamper resistant bit and unscrew the lash from the lid, slide it down and place it in the spot where the latch goes when you close the lid.
Does this have an Affresh cycle? I've read that some Mayag models force you to run that cycle.

It’s especially recent, even though Maytag decided for the 585 & 586 to be “GW”, which “G” is the Year Code for 2017, even though it’s a 2023 Machine. “GW” is incorrect, if it got released earlier this year. It’s supposed to be “PW”, as “P” is the Year Code for 2023. So, what the Model Numbers should’ve been would be “MVWP585PW” & “MVWP586PW”.

The TC5 isn't any quieter than this, that's one of the downfalls. Any of the TR models are but they don't clean as well as this. The only SQ washer that is quiet AND can outclean the Maytag is the FF7.
