I have a well maintained Mercedes B-class 2005, 2.0L diesel. Always top quality oil, fuel filters, fuel.. It has 340k kilometers, engine overhauled at 240k. This year I replaced the starter and battery. It starts in one crank rotation. No misfires, no weird shit and sounds.. just clean start. Every single time. I've seen car much older start with zero issues when properly maintained. As long as the fuel isn't gelled, you should be able to start no problem. These cars that need 2 starters to get going.. They're poorly maintained, need engine overhauls and so on..
