It's fascinating seeing your parents try new foods since coming to America.....they seem to like most things they try.....it's fun to watch... That meal must of taken literally all day to make, so many bits to it all....

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻That’s authentic Filipino cooking right there! Many props to you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 my parents cooked authentic Filipino food. As a first generation Filipino American I’ve used the more simple approach using seasoning packets. Thank you for cooking our food. Hope you enjoyed cooking and eating the dishes. 🇵🇭

If you ask my family they would tell you that I can cook anything from the simple to the complex, I love a good challenge and I most definitely love making cultural foods that we haven’t tried. I don’t really think about all the steps it takes, I just get into the zone. LoL That said, when I watch someone else do it I’m just in awe! You are a master cook as far as I’m concerned, that dinner took a lot of prep work/steps and came out beautifully, you are the queen of your cuisine! Well done.. and I love your channel. 👍🏼😊🌻

Palabok and lechon belly sauce made from scratch.. for context, the reason why Palabok and Lechon are not your everyday dishes is because they are labor intensive to prepare..kare-kare is another dish that takes too much process.. i mean if u dont want to use those commercially processed ingredients/sauces..
