Full UK Driving Test | Real-time Fault Marking

Mock UK driving test with Juri www.driving-school-beckenham.c...
Watch Juri take a mock driving test. Juri's had 33 hours of driving lessons and no private practice. He's managed to get a driving test for in 2 weeks time and feels confident enough to not only drive on his own but to take a mock driving test. If he passes, then it will give him a great confidence boost and if he fails then he'll know exactly what he needs to improve on.
This mock driving test includes parallel parking, independent driving following a diagram and various road and traffic conditions just like a real UK driving test. At the start of the driving test, your examiner will come out to meet you and check your provisional licence. You'll have to sign a declaration and then go outside to read a number plate from around 20.5 metres. After that it's onto the 'show me, tell me' questions. Once completed and you've made yourself comfortable in the car then the drive will begin.
This video is not showing a real driving test. This is a mock test and NOT a real driving test. Your examiner might mark more faults or less faults than are shown in this video.
If you've got your driving test coming up soon then good luck!

This video will give you some great tips if you're having driving lessons and a driving test soon.
Juri had a few more driving lessons after this was filmed and went on to pass his real driving test at West Wickham first time! Congratulations Juri and keep up the great, safe driving! Big thanks to Juri for being brave and letting us film your mock test.
This mock test was filmed in the West Wickham driving test area and follows part of a West Wickham driving test route.

why do people who can drive so well do stupid things on the test like not checking the blind spot, going in the wrong lane or not stopping at a red light? answer : nerves things to help with nerves: -rescue remedy (drops) -deep breathing (relaxation) -eat well -do exercise a day before the test -sleep well -dont tell anyone about your test - and number one tip : stop caring then you will pass, but if you care you are likely to be nervous and fail. the day you stop giving a damn and just drive is the day you will pass. Nerves can make you not focus and have negative thoughts like " i have to pass, cant fail, why doesnt this examiner talk to me?, omg must pass, is the test over yet?, omg this is so long, what manouver will i get?" dont think like this try to relax during your lessons and during your test. do whatever makes you calm down nicely, good luck! and thank you world driving you are my favourite driving channel

*guys* I just passed my driving test on the fourth try. I am a really good driver. Don't let yourselves get down over failing a few times. I was sitting in my room this morning with my head in my hands thinking about the aftermath of failing again but I passed with only to faults. If I can say anything to people still waiting to pass, it is, just keep rebooking the test if you fail, get a few lessons in in-between, because leaving long gaps between tests is just unlearning what you've been taught. I spent the whole test thinking I might have failed and was so happy when he said I passed. You will get there eventually, I know people that have failed 6 times 9 times 13 times etc... You will get there. Just don't beat yourself up about it. Good luck everyone!

These are might be silly questions but I have my driving test in a few week and I`m a bit confused. Should I use the handbrake "this much"? If I just use it for parking is it a reason to fail on the test? He is not using the indicator when he changes lanes because there are some parked car in his lane.. is it ok?

I am slightly confused with using the appropriate speed in given areas. Say up to minute 5:26 Juri is driving below 20 given that there are area speed calming measures within the built area.Furthermore, at minute 5:36 he picks up the speed presumably towards 30 Miles an hour without any speed sign indicating so.The question here is, how do you apply the appropriate speed limit when joining a new road that hasen't indicated so?

he kinda drives like me lol, he doesn't really make many minors but he made one silly mistake which is a major and then fails, even tho the rest of the drive was fine. some of my practice tests have been like that but i do think it has its pros- u remember the mistakes and learn from them so then it's unlikely that you'll do the same again. anyway congrats on passing juri :)

These guys use the hand brake way too much. My instructor told me it's not compulsory to use which is the common misconception. Passed with 0 use of the handbrake.

Way too much handbrake usage (even when stopping for 1 or 2 seconds) and I can't believe he puts it in 1st gear when doing left turns. The lowest you should ever go down to is second unless you're going slower than walking speed.

At 39:40 should he have waited tell all cars have gone past then signal? Because if the car stopped to let him go he would of got a serious fault as well?

Hi , great video as usual someone plz explain his fault at 35:23 I have gone through the page where all faults is explained even though it's not clear to me Like he was going through roundabout first exit he looked at the right first and went well it was first exit so when he needed to look at the mirror exactly I don't understand

i feel like he should have used a higher gear for fuel efficiency. Could have used 3rd instead of 2nd a lot of the time and turning into corners in 1st is a bit weird.

I have my test on Monday and I'm so nervous. Driving lessons are fine, but the thought of having a stranger next to me judging my every move makes me feel sick to the stomach. I don't even care if I fail, it just terrifies me. I've already chickened out of one test. The only way to calm myself down if I'm nervous is to have a drink! No way is that an option. Any other methods? Btw, no I have NEVER had a drink before driving, nor will I ever, before anyone asks xD

Hi! The driving test sounds A LOT worse than it actually is. The examiners are not there to catch you out but to make sure you're safe on the road, which is actually what you want too and they're actually friendly normal people just doing a job. Treat it just like another lesson with somebody else. Think positively and the worst that's going to happen is that you have to do it again but you'll still be one piece. Good luck and don't worry about it, it's just another drive :)

Are there any clues to know whether what kind of right turn it’ll be when there are already cars waiting in the middle. For example 7:08 there are cars already there. Is there a clue that you should look out for to know what kind of turn it’ll be? Do you know whether it’s an offside turn because theyre positioned more to the left and more forward towards you, also the wheels slightly turning to the right? And a way of knowing if it’s a near side turn is if you can see the opposing cars passenger door? Please reply and clarify

  • @worlddriving

    @worlddriving

    2 жыл бұрын

The oncoming vehicle has already positioned at an angle (nearside to nearside). If it was offside to offside then the other vehicle would have a straighter angle. Also the crossroads would need to be larger for offside to offside as you need more space to drive round the back of them.

Sadly I didn't pass today, I had 5 minors but mounted the kurb on my manoeuvre which was turn in the road. It's my favourite manoeuvre. But I didn't reverse enough to give myself room. To straighten up.

  • @worlddriving

Hi! The handbrake helps with hill starts, allows you to move off quicker and more smoothly (as you can set the gas and find the biting point) and if you're waiting for a period of time but otherwise it's up to you :)
