7:50 sir but if we use our fist to block it will be quite painful for both attacker and defender because we have bone there But if we use muscle part "wan" of our hand that even if we get hit our muscles will be there to protect us Oss sir pls clarify this dought🙏

I've practiced for 30yrs now and Nidan remains my favorite. Love how you rotate the camera during your demo

The difference between Shukokai and Shotokan for Godan is pretty immense. The rest are fairly similar with the odd tweaks and slightly different footwork. Thanks! Helps remind me of the ones I'm less sure on ☺️

I know you have a lot of people who like your “reacts to” videos, but I’ve never seen any of the things you are reacting to, so it’s reall nice to see some karate content again 🙂 Your form is really wonderful, and your explanations really clear.

The camera rotation that you do at certain points throughout the kata is helpful. I have not seen other instructors on youtube do that before, but it improves the quality of the instruction.

im 34, i used to be in shotokan. the instructor moved. now i have an achilles injury. after watching this, i think once i have surgery or whatever i need done.... im going to go back and self teach. i enjoy this style. i was a green belt once upon a time.

I enjoy seeing the differences and similarities of the kata. I am currently working of the Okinawan series of these kata (Pinan) and the movements differ quite a bit from how I learned it in TKD (Hyungs). The way I learned these in TKD are almost identical to Shotokan. My TKD instructor was very open with the fact that the art comes more from Shotokan than other arts.

You are a great teacher. I used to take kajukenpo when I was young but quit because my teacher was very mean. He was similar to the teacher in The karate Kid, I wish I had you as a teacher!

I'm learning Tekki Sandan for my 3rd Kyu grading in August, and every week at our Academy, We go through all the Heian Kata before we get to the highest belts Kata (in order) and you wouldn't believe the amount of time I practice Heian Kata... to forget it when it gets to training nights xDD Your content is awesome!
