Wow!! You are busy❤
You can torch your garden boxes to turn them black it also protects them from rot
Greetings from Africa, it is encouraging that pastor is doing homesteading. God bless.
Remember one day at a slow and steady wins the race
Clides Garden planner gives you planting and harvest dates for all zones in USA.
Love it ! But it looks like a lot of work espfor someone with s daytime job. Your little girl is too cute and smart. 😊
Maybe you could build a “She Shed” on that hill you said you would like to build a house on? PS I love the white shop door, it looks so cute and stands out with the windows. 😊 Oh and if you paint the greenhouse black too and paint the HardiePlank white it will tie into the shop’s white door. Just a idea for you to consider. 😁
Maybe make your daughters future house there. Could be her little clubhouse now and future house for when she's older
Eleanor is one of the most special little girls ive ever seen. You could also try making rose water maybe with the ones that are just for looks, along with some others, it seems very profitable.
Beautiful 😍

@@HeadFamilyFarm I live just a few miles outside of Blackfoot, Idaho. We are finally getting our spring thaw. I am in awe at how fast the snow is melting, but not so much in awe of my garage getting a bit flooded! Spent 30 minutes last night using a push broom to sweep it all out! 💖😳🙄😉
Hello. I follow you in KZread now and Instagram. Loved how beautiful you grow your vegetables, nice and big. I live north of you in Santa Clarita and I love gardening. This is my third year gardening in my back yard. The first was a disaster, did everything from seed but was too much and not enough resources. Now I still grow from seed and doing a little better. I think😂. But I love to find gardeners near me to follow all year what they do so I can do it because I honestly forget steps (important steps) in gardening. If you start from seed would be great to show us every step. Thank you🌱🌱🌱
Thank you. This was great fun and I enjoyed your tour very much❤😊
50% wow I wish Jacqueline it’s 7% here in UK and hailstones the size of golf balls…I can’t put any seeds jn yet it’s ridiculous weather

Such good ideas with your chicken systems!! I am about to start a small backyard flock and bringing in two pigeons, and this is the first time I’ve seen it in reality! Thank you!
Just air flow might drop it 6°. In my state its very low humidity and our quickest way to cool down is a spritzer bottle of water. Sit under a ceiling fan and mist yourself and it will freeze you. This probably doesn't work in high humidity areas.
Lovely property! Thanks for sharing! I like your comment about diversifying on a farm/homestead for income.

Can you provide a link to, or video or video drawing showing the locations on the land of the fruit trees, the garden, the house, the barn, the chicken coop, turkeys, pigs pen, goat enclosure. etc.

Hi! A map of our property isn’t something we are comfortable with sharing. When mapping out where to place things on your property most decisions will depend on the lay of the land, full sun locations, existing structures and proximity to water. We’ve worked with what we have.
Love to see your farm, love to see your intrest and you are graceful couple stay blessed and love to see your family happy and healthy 😊😊😊

Fences for animals and mostly Neem Oil for bugs.
You have a beautiful place. I just came across your channel. From watching Letsdig18 and Dirt Perfect, you may want to consider getting rid of the tress on the dam side of your pond. As sad as it would be, the roots can actually grow through and cause your dam to fail and the pond not hold water over time. It would be an expensive repair to have the dam dug up and redone again as well as time lost waitimg for it to fill up again. Not trying to be rude or tell you what to do with your property. You may have already crossed this off your list or just not got to it. But you have a beautiful place. I was curious what 10 acres would look like for myself and i can say, i wish i had that much to start on. A lot more space than one thinks.

If you were in a more wooded area then pigs wouldn’t be worthless. And even still, bacon is never worthless. Lol

We have a wooded area where we hope to run pigs for harvest one day, these are pretty worthless, though, as they are just pets.

What kind of goats are those? Are all goats that sweet and playful?
@HeadFamilyFarm
8 ай бұрын
Most goats are playful by nature but spending a lot of hands on time from the time they’re born is the key to having friendly goats. These are all Nubian goats, one of the largest domestic breeds.
How many chickens do you have
@HeadFamilyFarm

Currently we have around 75. It is typically difficult to know at any given time because we freerange most of our birds. Thanks for being here with us!
You did not show why you put flowers in frig.

🎵 “Welcome to America!” 🎵 😉 I’m sure there are several things we say differently. I’ve never actually met anyone in person who says “herbs” with a pronounced “h” 😅
Your yard will be tick free with chickens eating them
So your farm is a pet farm. Not a homestead to provide food? Your video showed up on my feed. This is the first video I've seen about your farm. So, t u st's why I ask.
@HeadFamilyFarm
3 ай бұрын
We have pets, as most homesteads do, but many of our animals are part of our homestead businesses or serve a purpose for our nourishment or land. This was early last Spring, right before the main planting season for our growing zone. If you checkout some of our other videos you'll see many of our growing spaces and the food we grow. Much has changed in a year and we'll have more updates soon as we prepare our fruit trees, berries and scheduled plantings for the first season of the year.
I love y’all but I have to say I wish y’all would change the way you house your rabbit. Rabbits need a lot of room to explore, get exercise etc. They are also social animals and they need companionship. Living in a cage like she’s in is also not comfortable on her feet. I know this is a common set up on farms for rabbits but it really needs to change. I hope I’m not coming across as rude. That’s not my intention. Also, grown rabbits need good quality timothy feed pellets and also Timothy hay, along with fruits and vegetables. Because they do dig and they are destructive, their living quarters should be enforced so they can’t dig out. My rabbits have always lived inside. You can litter train rabbits but many people do not know that their feed has to be in their litter box. Rabbits eat where they use the bathroom. As long as their food is in their litter box and you use the proper materials for them to use the bathroom in, your rabbit will be very happy and also very good about only using the bathroom where it is designated.

Mopsy is in the cage she is in now because we are expecting her to give birth in the next day or two and need to control the environment. She is on a balanced diet of pellets, Timothy hay, and other supplemental foods.
