Amen! I’m 56 years old and when I was a little kid Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street and the electric company were the highlight of my day LOL LOL. And then it was really fun to have my older kids watch as well. And then I remember in preschool I used to watch romper room and that woman never said my name in that mirror and every day I would wait for it LOL

Not sure if it was the kids on the show or the flashy colors. The kids seemed to have a cool factor that the kids on Seceme St did not have

After the military I suffered from insomnia terribly.A friend gave me a vcr tape about 5 hours long of Bob Ross "Joy of Painting". I dont believe I ever made it the 2nd episode without dosing off. Bob ross was a Godsend to many.If anyone out there suffers from loss of sleep to the point it affects your daily life give this ASMR a try. Maybe it will help.God bless you Bob where ever you are !

My Adult Son is Autistic. As a child the only way to calm him during many Autistic Meltdowns….I would pop in a Bob Ross video, as Bob would calm my Son ……My Son started painting and still watches Bob Ross. I want to give him a surprise visit to Bob’s Studio here. We live in Cincinnati, so it would be a very nice day trip for him and me too!

I loved how when you looked through the camera you could see him painting. Nice that it is so 'hands on' and they have so many items of Bob's, it makes it even more of a special experience. Great vlog Jordan.

This was an absolute pleasure watching this! I took classes back in the 80's from one of Bob Ross' teachers. The class lasted 8 weeks, I believe, and I still have all of my paintings (less one I gave to my Mom). I continued to paint for years after; it was my solace to be able to watch Bob each week and create right along with him.

Greetings from Muncie! Glad you came to visit! A couple of notes for you: One of my high school classmates was the "cameraman in the raincoat." Also, the reason the Lucius L Ball house is "historic" is because he was one of the five Ball brothers who moved their manufacturing business from Buffalo, NY to Muncie in the late 1880s and started making what became know as the Ball mason jars. The five brothers each had a mansion along the river on on the land which was the original site of Wa-pi-ka-me-kunk, the village of the Munsee clan of the Delaware tribe. The fifth house, Minnetrista, burned to the groung in the 1960s and the Minnetrista Center was built in its place. Since you mentioned Ball State alumnus David Letterman, WIPB now operates out of the David Letterman Building located in the heart of the BSU campus. Just thought you'd be inerested :-)

Most of Bob Ross's paintings are catalogued and stored in a warehouse in Northern Virginia - I am still in the process of trying to acquire one

Bob Ross made painting look easy. I didn't know the backstory of his afro. He passed so young. He was ASMR with his soothing voice before it became "a thing" now. The house where the filming took place was amazing.

I watched Bob's show and watched another with his son. Thank you for this Jordan. Greetings to your Grandy and Mum :)
