The Kaabo Mantis King GT is Andrew's favorite 10-inch scooter that was released this year. Andrew takes the Mantis King GT on an exhilarating full-throttle range test around Denver testing it on smooth pavement, hills, single track, packed gravel, and loose gravel.
Upgrades on the Kaabo Mantis King GT compared to previous models are adjustable hydraulic suspension, dual 27 amp sine wave controllers, TFT LCD display, folding mechanism, controllable LED lights, hybrid tires, M16 3-pin chargers, taller stem, wider handlebars, and IPX5 water resistance rating.
In this video, Andrew goes for a full-throttle range on the Kaabo Mantis King GT and tells you what he loves and hates about it.

I have one of these and there are some things a potential buyer should know. The throttle is awful, I have swapped to a 130X thumb throttle, much better, requires minor modification to work with the Kaabo wiring ie, swap the the +5v and sensor wire in the 130X harness, there is a video from ginger on wheels that talks about how to switch to custom throttles for kaabo scooters. The springs are weak, riders 200lbs and over will find they crush them easily. The shocks are complete junk, they blow out extremely fast, you will be riding on pogo sticks. Replacement shocks need to be 125 to 130mm with 1500lb to 2000lb springs, 150mm shocks will technically fit but they will raise the ride height above stock. A percentage of these scooters have faulty motors, the wire shielding on the main wires inside the hub connecting to the stator is brittle and cracks which causes an occasional short to ground which then puts the scooter into limp mode and you roll to a stop, restarting the scooter resets the limp mode and the scooter rides normally again until it happens again. Kaabo is aware of this and will replace the motors under warranty, the issue is actually pretty easy to fix as well, just put high temp insulating tape on the wires and the problem goes away. Kaabo motors are not very water resistant and will rust internally if you expose them to excessive moisture. Stem is a bit short and the handlebars are meh, the on/off and shift button module should be on the right side, easy fix, install some high rise 720mm handlebars and move the module to the right side. Early versions have necks that crack then break, a v2 and v3 have been released that are stronger, available through warranty or purchase on aliexpress, new scooters should have a v2 or v3 neck already installed.. Stem cracking was an issue on early models but a new welding process has been added to address this and it seems to have fixed the problem completely. The TFT display will smash and break on the rear kick plate when folding the scooter because it has an interference fit, be mindful of this and move the display when folding the scooter. The new fender still hits the wheel a bit on rough roads unfortunately, its better than it was though. The torque on this thing is phenomenal, so much so that it is a problem for the front wheel, hit the throttle too hard coming out of a turn and it will spin wildly letting the front end slide out from under you, be careful, there is a setting to adjust the acceleration strength for both the front and rear motor in each gear to minimize risk. Turn the regen brake down to level one in all gears (E-ABS 1), the wires in the motors wont get so hot and the brakes will feel better. That's about all I can think of.

Awesome input 🫡
I have two of these scooters and I love them. The fender that it came with wasn't too great, but they did send an additional fender for the back which was shorter and the same as the front one, you could also get the fender extender on Voro if you need the long fender. The clanking from the folding lock doesn't happen either anymore. They added an extra washer or something to make it stiff and not move. The only major issues with this scooter is that it sometimes will go into a no power mode, but I have only had that happen on one scooter out of the two. And Kaabo and VoroMotors are both aware of the issue. I don't mind the deadzone on the throttle because it provides a safety so you don't accidentally press it while not meaning to, and it lets your thumb sit in the most natural position relative to the throttle starting and max speed. But I could see some people not liking it. Also I would contact VoroMotors about your scooter, or check the settings, because on both scooters I have, they both get down to 49v before doing what yours did, where it capped you at 20mph while flashing error 5. And the percentage was also still up, definitely not how it's supposed to be. Going 25mph - 45mph average, I can normally get 30+ miles on a charge.

I have an E-TWOW GT Sport and I love the simplicity and weight of it. The bigger E scooters scare me because they jam all this digital tech onto it knowing damn well it all doesn't function consistently. If I get to 10% battery, I'm actually at 10%, not dead. My only gripe are the breaks. I already wiped out losing friction on the back disc break, I straight up slid and my back wheel tailwhipped to my side, was riding on one wheel for a second. The regen break is just random. It's like 2 different breaks for 2 diff situations and you have to use both of them, there is no middle ground with the breaking, I guess I could use the foot break too lmao.
I use a 3-LED white light on front of the scooter, on strobe/blinking, which ensures I am seen ! During night, I keep it in constant (not strobe).

I get about 40 miles on my mantis king gt going 25-30mph in modes 3 and 4. I noticed when the battery gets low you get more speed (and range) out of mode 3 vs mode 4. Mode 5 is only necessary if your going over 32 mph from my experience (i know you were intentionally trying to push it to the max for a range test). I wonder if kaabo improved the battery monitoring on the later production models, because mine is pretty accurate and I can do 25mph @ 8% battery left. Kaabo added a plastic washer to the stem clip which prevents the clanking around and they did improve the rear fender finally! Its a lot thicker and only slaps when I hit larger bumps.
