Yes. This is why i also say that even if the spouse cheated, that doesn't mean that you should cheat too. Because if you're not already in the finalization of the divorce, and you sleep with someone, and they catch you, they can turn it all around and say that see they - you - slept with this person and divorce isn't finalized so who's to say that they - you- hasn't done it before, and just deleted all proof of said cheating.​@@jayewrite1256

I do... but it's still crummy. Do NOT marry a military spouse if you aren't ok being alone for long stretches... and do not marry, as a military person, if you cannot be faithful to your spouse while on deployment.

If this was a real story, the soldier on leave would have put his 'best friend' through a wall (and does it well that the AP doesn't remember what happen to him, so he doesn't get reported before he goes back). Burn all the photos he has of her together with him, and report everything to all friends, family, and associates who will see her differently... she is stupid to believe her AP just to get in her pants...
