Me too. Cruz gave a write in speech, as if he's still a viable candidate in an undecided contest. It was the most petty, selfish stupid thing Cruz could've possibly done. His political career ended tonight.

Newt had the right idea, but he didn't go far enough. This was a great opportunity to unify, and Newt understood that Sen Cruz even agreeing to speek after the nasty words, and lies Donald said about his family members and Ted himself was a nobal and graceous act on behave of the party. If Newt just went a litttle further and asked the people do you agree with what Ted just said about Freedom, Liberty, The Constitution, building the wall, small government etc. That is unity! That is what we want.

Newt would make a good secretary of state...

Chastaine, you are mistaken about the White House thing. He has never served in the W.H. He did a lot of damage in the Congress, however. The terrible legacy of it remains today.
