Full ride train
Ойын-сауық
I rode in the Quiet Car on this train so I could not narrate. The video is loaded with infographics that will tell you things about the ride that you never thought possible. You will get info in stations, interlockings, most passing trains, and bodies of water that I can’t pronounce. We really roll on the New Haven to Boston portion with a couple of 150mph zones. Enjoy this great ride on a gorgeous day. (At 1:38:17 that is #125 from Springfield, Ma. to Newport News, Va.)

I rode train 2150 yesterday (Sept 21) from Philadelphia to Boston. I never gone that fast in a train before. What a ride.
Thank you for making this, I always wanted to know the full NEC route and how it looks between NYC and New haven CT Awesome vid as always

A lot of old time east enders are Red Sox fans. Back in the old days, you'd get better reception pointing the TV antenna to Boston than NY.

Whenever I'm on a train I tend to hangout in the cafe car for most of the trip
Starting at 11:42, Carl Icahn Stadium (one of the more famous track and field venues in the country) comes into view.
I love these long distance full ride videos. Would you ever consider doing a video series from some of Amtrak's cross country routes like the SW Chief, Lakeshore Limited, or CA Zephyr? I took a couple of these years ago and it was fantastic.

There’s a special New Haven line train direct to Yankee Stadium from New Haven for weekday evening Yankee games called the “Yankee Clipper”
@3985uprr

Sounds like plagiarism. Well, Joe DiMaggio was called the Yankee Clipper.

Yankee, a native or citizen of the United States or, more narrowly, of the New England states of the United States (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). The term Yankee is often associated with such characteristics as shrewdness, thrift, ingenuity, and conservatism. (From an article. Not my words)

Another fantastic video!! Enjoyed it very much, liked everything about it. Only two things (not your fault at all) were the announcements made by the Amtrak staff (too fast talking and sounded impersonal) and all the graffiti all over everything. Keep up the great work!!

It's time to say Thank You for all your video clips. I am whatching them from Germany. Did you recognize the advertisement behind you after 1:13? It shows a special German traffic system in Wuppertal (transleted Wupper Valley), called Schwebebahn (suspension railway). Nice to find taht in your video. Please keep on to publish daily a video, preferd in my mind cabviews.

I do can views when I am able, which is not often, but stay tune for the videos I make in California next month. Several cab views hoped for.
Lot of Metro North M8s heading towards GCT for the AM rush!!! I would imagine there would be alot more once Metro North service begins into Penn

The penn station access project is coming along. Are they gonna add tracks in the line for metro North trains?

At 4:25 you display "F". What does that mean? Recently I took many trains in the UK and one in the Netherlands. All had door steps close to the platform. I'm glad that Acela also has this. On my return to the US I took a Northeast Regional train to Ashland VA where I live. Those steps are really difficult to get luggage on the carriage.

The letters or words in quotations are the names of interlockings or controlled switches. The one outside NYC is simply called “F”
