Haven't yet. They're in the queue.

Cut the remaining elastomer spacer to size and replace the weak polymer one and that should stiffen the initial take up. You can also add washers in the stack as a preload adjustment. This will make it more difficult to reposition the stack into the base though.

Thanks for doing this video. I went ahead and picked up a wheel and pedal set, this looks like the best solution for me. The Trueforce is up my alley, I like have engine vibration in my FFB.

That may only apply where Logitech can sell online in the specific territory. Don't assume every country can order direct from their website and ship to a buyer's local address that isn't NA or EU/UK.

If they last as long as Logitechs G29s etc... They'd be a safe bet. The heel plate being plastic for myself is a non issue as you will scratch most if not all heel plates if your grinding a stone into it with your heel, that and the old G29 pedal sets are plastic and I can't ever remember it coming up as an issue before. If does bother some folks just cover it with something. Good Review. Stiffening up the brake pedal was a great point and easy to do if you replace the soft foam with a firmer one.

To me this seems like the next logical step up from my g923. I picked it up last October and have enjoyed it very much, I would have gone with a t300rs but availability at the time was bad and not to mention they came with terrible pedals right off the bat compared to the 923. Pretty cool they are working on a adapter for the pedals as well and once my warranty expires I'll jump onto the wheel as well

@@Pluto-ud5ss I agree, it is a bit too steep especially for the material build but I would say Logitech can maybe produce them at a higher rate than fanatec and Moza can. This I think will also go down in price later down the line when I might be ready. It also adds competition for the Direct Drive market which is great. Only time will tell. I am quite happy with my G923 at the moment

i like drifting i haven't really tried racing yet might have to give it a shot great content!!

I managed to snag the only unit of these in my country. Very excited to finally have a load cell pedal set.

Update: the quality is really good. I'm still adjusting to it. The stock accelerator pedal spring is about as strong as the G29's brake pedal. Switched to the lightest spring and it feels great.

With the plastic plate with the g920, I've never had any significant scratches so I feel the same with the Logitech pro pedals.

As of now there's still no real ecosystem because there's not a single accessory available or even announced. You're still only getting the wheel + the pedals.

So happy and appreciative to Logitech and Thrustmaster as well for coming out with these comparative products. It seemed like the last year or so the prices of the higher end products just went through the roof so to speak. Hopefully prices will even out so that the poorer masses (80% of us) can also enjoy the joys of sim racing.

@@sternfaust Thrustmaster has a direct drive wheel coming out as well. I’ve never used Thrustmaster products myself but it seems a lot of people like them. We just need the prices to come down and the more competition there is out there the lower the prices usually.

Be great to see a pleb like me get sent a wheel and pedals to compare it to a 923 that l have. Never used anything but logitech gear for my racing and have always loved the durability and ease of use. Really happy logitech have bought out another quality wheel. Looking forward to trying it.

I LOVE how I can buy and use just the pedals without upgrading my G27 wheel (on PC). Would like to get the wheel but would rather upgrade the pedals for better foot feel.

Idk if you eventually found out or not but his is a next Level Racing cockpit. I believe the F-GT Elite. Which is second now to the more sturdy F-GT elite 160

The plastic pedal base at this price point is really tacky, but I like that they at least designed these in a way where all the important components can just be removed from the base and mounted to an aftermarket inverted pedalbase or race rig and then it becomes a non-issue but this still seems hard to justify at this price compared to the entry level Moza pedals

@@danielsoto_toronto, the very cheapest do not (just as with Fanatec), but the SR-P load cell pedals do, and they are over $100 less with an all-steel build (no plastic at all).

Instead of a vinyl wrap, I'd just grab some automotive carpeting, cut it to shape, and glue it to the pedal base where my feet rest. Personally this works for me since I'm more used to street cars and often drive street cars in sims, so would get some immersion points there haha

Would placing metal shims in the chamber with the polymer cylinders, create a pre-load when you screw it back together?

Can I use this pedal with other wheel on a PC? I assume the pedal can be connected to the PC separately?

The only reason I'll go for Logitech when upgrading to Direct Drive is the True Force feature, it actually adds something to the experience. Wish they had a wheel base with 20Nm however.

Do you know if they are also gonna bring a new manual shifter? The old one is just too flimsy to use with a wheel and pedalset of this price.

The clutch and heel toe downshifting really needs to be showcased in these reviews. That is huge and nobody seems to show it. Some pedals work well for it and others not. just playing with the throttle and brake....you can buy the cheapest pedals and do fine.

so lets say i just wanted the pedals, i can unhook the g29 pedal from the g29 wheel and plug in the wheel and pro pedals to my pc and use both ?

This comparison was made in the video. Logitech is more versatile with more adjustment range and can be used on the floor without being hard mounted if necessary. CSL Elite V2 is stiffer and arguably more authentic feeling. I personally prefer the CSL Elite V2 pedals as they suit my driving style better.

To be fair, i traded the r5 bundle for this pro setup. These pedals dunk all over the moza srp (upgraded from lite) ones imho after using both for a bit. The moza setup was still fantastic; doing it over id skip r5 and just make my own bundle with r12, crp pedals and formula wheel. Im just a logitech lifer, and i have zero regrets getting the pro setup. I just regret getting into this rabbit hole😅

The cost of the pedals is nuts. I have the G Pro ordered but planning on keeping the tlcm pedals from trustmaster to use on PC.

great review. I am very tempted to buy this with the wheel. But I miss the how to mount the pedals on a rig. I have a PLAYSEAT using Fanatec CSL Elite (gen1) but I can figure how I would those on my PLAYSETA pedals plate. On the fanatec there are threads underneath the pedals that I am using with cut-off on the rig pedals plate. I cant see such Option on the Logitech when pedals are all assembled to the plate. Sorry if that's sounds dumb but how do you achieve this mounting?

I was wondering how u feel these pedals stack up against something like Thrustmasters TLCM’s or Fanatecs CSL’s with loadcell

I,m playing with my pedals on the carpet and my steering clamped to a wooden tv tray… when the racing gets heated I’m having to reposition the peddles with my feet as it turns sideways and I find myself steering with the dinner tray in the air swinging under the wheel…haha just bought some 2” square tubing and a cheap racing seat off of Amazon so upgrading !! 😂

I added the bundle to my cart on the Logitech site using your link. The wheel and Pedals. The Pedals are showing (Xbox) tho and I'm buying for PS5. Are the pedals the same as long as you get the PS5 -compatible wheel? I couldn't find any info on that. Cheers for any help.

The pedals are universal since you have to plug them into the base in order to use them on a console. So yes, you can use them on PS5.

hey Josh did you put thru the order? I took a chance they'd be compatible. I ordered mine I'm in the UK and just got email today saying pedals have shipped.... PS5 wheel is still processing

So we believe these will be able to be used on PS5 with a G29 but not yet? Am I understanding that right?

Had mine for a couple of months and they're great .Took quite a bit of adjusting and trying out different hardness of the elastomers but after a week or I was totally used to them and love em.Also dont forget you get feedback thru the pedals as well as the wheel which most ppl have no idea the pedals have true force too

The pedals do not have true force. You're feeling the vibration only because the wheel base vibrates and this vibration if strong enough can shake the whole rig.

Will, seems that the main thing you do not like is the soft brake. If one would use a rigid aftermarket mod instead of the soft pieces in the brake making it stiffer, would it make it comparable to Fanatec CSL elite v2, or are there some other major considerations I am missing right now?

Great review. I kind of miss information whether if adjustments for heel n toe driving can be done. Default setup does not seem like it is possible.

Withdrew my comment on the price as i got the full bundle for a good price delivered free total £1212.48p and it's a very premium bundle the pedals are loadcell and you do get some spare bits to adjust the pedals with 3 spare USB sockets i am sure more is planned for the G Pro Base the price is in par with the Fanatec DD Pro whole bundle if you include desk clamp too and 3 pedal set and remember this is 11nm not 8nm,new F1 wheel is planned i bet?

I seen the price and laughed. I’ll stick with my g920 which is still brand new because I unplug and put under my desk when I am not using. The full pro set is insane pricing.

So, I’m watching this and I’m kinda lost. I’m new to sim racing and all the technical stuff, goes over my head. I was going to buy these pedals and wheel set. Is this set usable for a noob, straight out of the box? I don’t want to start taking stuff apart and possibly mess up or lose springs etc.

The base has 4 usb ports as well and also has a quick release. This means there is coming more. Why would Logitech implement a decent quick release system without posibility to change the wheel. Doesn’t make sense, right? Same goes for shifter and handbrake.

I just assumed that anyone buying such a wheel would probably also buy a 3rd party higher end shifter Im a G293 user and the 50€ logitech shifter aint gonna cut it if im ever gonna buy a DD Wheel like the Logitech Pro

Just returned my g pro pedals, bought the simsonn ones instead. They definitely need to be tuned but once set up properly they are amazing. Way above something like the v3 csl and g pro. Plus they’re all metal and come in black and look fantastic. Don’t buy g pro when you can buy simsonn for 150$ish cheaper and much better

Why didn't you add spring to brake peddle like for accelerator?

As long as there isn't any flex in the pedal plate I don't see an issue with it being plastic..

My g920 pedals have that potentiometer issue on my brake and gas pedal and it sucks do these not have the same issue abt a year later?

Nice Review as always :)! But I don't agree that they, or the wheel, look expensive or high quality. I find both looks, I think mainly because of the plastic, relatively cheep. And the wheel looks way to gimmicky, because of the useless triangles, and bulky. And for that cheep (looking) materials, in combination with no additional wheels, no additional features of other expensive pedals (preload, 2-stage clutch...) and the fact that Logitech is a huge company where they make lots of units, and therefore way cheaper then the competition, the price is way to high!

Can any of you tell me whether or not the softest brake adjustment for the G Pro pedal would give me a similar amount of resistance on par with the "soft first half" of the G29 brake pedal, before you reach that very stiff rubber block? I plan to use this wheel and pedal set on my desk

There are six rubber inserts to customize exactly how stiff you like the pedal. It feels progressive, not at all like the rubber stopper in the G29 pedals. Unscrew those pedals and take that rubber stopper out. The pro pedals aren't magic, there is no feedback like a real car, but they are miles better than the G29 pedals.

I like the design very much. I have the Fanatec CS V3, it's overbuilt and underengineered. However, Logitech isn't a boutique manufacturer, they have the manufacturing and design expertise and a global sales network and the economics of scale on their side so I would expect better pricing and I'm a bit dissapointed.

Yeah, I was hoping for a lower price tag too. That $1,000 USD just for the wheel is hard to swallow. If they had managed to do the whole bundle w/pedals for $1k, I'd be all in. You're right about Logitech's economics of scale, but I think at the end of the day, high-end sim racing is pretty niche, so there would probably be only so many of these that are gonna sell, even at a price of $100-200 less.

Hey will. I think the travel measurement does make sense when you think about it. Because if you set it to the stiffest setting it’s going to travel less then what it would if it was set to the softest setting. (Provided the loadcell setting doesn’t change). Yes it will take more force to reach the same about if travel, but there is a limit to how much it will compress the elastomers.

Can I use those pedals with my G29?

Holding out hope that they release a shifter that's actually good. This product release looks great so far. Not done watching the review yet.
