First set of quads I bought were a Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4 and a 250 Quad Sport. Compared to todays machines they were like riding lawn mowers through the woods. That being said, we went everywhere under the sun. Snow, mud and trails. Loved them the entire time. I think I’m looking at my new set of quads. It been like 8 years since we have had them, time to get back in the saddle.

Good information. Thanks guys. I feel Suzuki was long overdue for an update, and I’m not bothered by an already great ATV being substantially...refined and improved, but not completely reinvented.

on the 2019 king quad the inner fenders lack fasteners to hold them from flopping around and its possible to get caught on the front tire and the fuel filler needs to be moved forward about 5 or 6 inches to evacuate air while fueling up and for topping up with a 20 litre can .

Owning a 19 grizzly 700 se, single cylinder with a huge displacement put plenty of power to the ground. Impressive having the ability to pull the front wheels and ride it as long as you want as big of a bike they are. Yes can am and Kawasaki make tons of hp but there transmission configurations rob a large percentage of it rendering it unusable. The reliability just isnt there either

I think the intake and exhaust on the Grizzly is located a lot higher than the Suzuki's. This is very important when riding in water or wet conditions where the CVT may become compromised by water. Something to consider. I bought a new Grizzly EPS ES last year. I also gave the Suzuki a very hard look. Settled on the Grizz. So far, no regrets. But I'm sure I would have enjoyed the Suzuki if I had purchased it instead. To me, the Grizzly looks a little more sporty and more intimidating as far as looks go.

i bought one this week to go with my raptor. in canada the model is called kingquad 750xpz. it is a 2022. it has plastic covers on the racks. d'ont know the name of the color, but it is greyish silver color. i like it a lot. in fact it might be my favorite atv in my 37 years riding em. it is a machine you can trust. it is very well made and the ride is incredible. much better than the polaris 1000 hunter edition 2021 i had who overheated all the time, felt cheap and the ride was ordinary and unsettled. yes the polaris 1000 was faster, but the suzuki is more responsive and way more fun. polaris they used to be innovators, builders of incredible machines. their current atv are a joke. they are overpriced asf. i was always stressed the thing was going to burst into flames, that is why i sold that polaris. never again polaris. and not interested anymore in can am. i stick with japanese brands. they are not the fastest, but they are built like tanks and they last. and the fit and finish is very good. it feels like a quality product and ride like one. i have left american car brands in 2010 and buy only japanese cars exclusively. now i am doing the same with atv's. i started riding at 11 years of age in 1984 on a honda trx 200.

I’m looking to upgrade my awesome 2006 Kawasaki BF 750 with a new EPS FI type BF, Grizz or KQ(yeah I prefer the Japanese brands). I trail ride weekly in Ontario. I had a chance recently to test ride the new 2019 Grizzly 700 SE and the 2019 King Quad 750 Axi back to back on a dirt circuit. I know I can’t expect to get the same punch out of these as my old carbed vtwin(can I?) but man ...I was sooo disappointed with the new Grizzly (683 motor). It sounded like crap (exhaust) and It just felt gutless to me , no excitement, I guess for my riding style. Otherwise, it handles and brakes well, I was really leaning towards a Grizz before I test rode it. In contrast , when I rode the KQ, I got some excitement back , the exhaust note sounded great for a single and the power and torque was nearing my old BF. the KQ also handled and braked well to me and is actually very similar in layout of my BF (e.g. sealed rear brake, battery under seat,etc..) I know both are reliable, but for my riding style I won’t consider the Grizz at this point, I’m looking at the KQ or another BF.

This is the kind of review I've been looking for. I'm thinking about getting another 4x4 quad, it's come down to the grizzly, King Quad, Brute Force. I Road 17 Brute Force it was a lot of fun, just a few things I don't like about it that make me lean towards the grizzly or the king quad. But after your review of the grizzly and my experience which was the same on a 2016 Grizzly I used to own, I'm pretty much going to ditch the grizzly it appears. My 16 grizzly was not at all impressive in the horsepower Department and no aggressive take off and seemed like turd all the way through the RPM range. The only thing I really really liked about the grizzly was it's smooth riding and comfortable seat. Looks like it'll come down to the brute force or King Quad.

When I rode my buddies Brute Force 750 this last summer I thought the ride was pretty decent, much smoother then my king quad. My biggest complaints with a Brute Force is the way their diff Lock Works, I don't like that. I'd rather be a button I push rather than a lever I have to pull and hold. The other really big downer for me is a low ground clearance. The one big thing I liked about the grizzly was the ground clearance and arched a arms. Which the king quad doesn't have either but I believe it has a little more ground clearance then the Brute Force. It will most likely be the brute force or the king quad for me this go around. What shocks would a guy put on a king quad or a Brute Force if you wanted a smoother ride without bottoming out?

Suzuki makes good ATVs like Yamaha does. The difference is Yamaha has continued to innovate over the years while that KQ is very similar to the KQ that rolled off the assembly line in 2009.

I just bought a 2022 750 xpz....You forgot to say. at speed.. Going into a corner The thing is Tippy!!! with a 3inch narrower track at the front wheel. This thing wants to Dive and Roll in a corner.. I never had this issue with my Vinson. Wheels should be at far cornerness.. Ya say playful. I can unstable!! The Power steering is so light. It's twitchy at speeds above 70kmph..

The trim packages are BS, they are just some colors and alloy wheels. Where's the bumpers and the factory installed winch? $1400 more to go to power steering and even though you guys say it's improved, every other outlet says they can't feel any difference. Not worth it at all. Buy the base model and get aftermarket wheels if you don't like the steel, it's way cheaper. Still, it's a rock solid quad with Honda rivaling quality and longevity. My 2018 Grizzly is headed to the dealer for a complete top end replacement at 3000 km due to engine defects in 2016, 2017 and 2018. There will be a King Quad in my garage I think.

It's both he covid factor and the fact some folks have extra money to chase a toy so more demand than supply. Why throw in a winch when it will sell anyway. Everything is out of wack and have you tried to by any wood lately?

Suzuki, fourth best Japanese toy manufacturer. Honda #1, Yamaha #2 (tied with Honda), Kawasaki #3 ( not even close to the front two), Suzuki #4 (tied with Kawasaki). Why are they better than The Zook?? Quality control, ergonomics, better quality bolts, electrical, and always tight for 15+ years. Polaris, and Bombardier, AC not even considered. Now Chinese???

You are probably right about a smoother ride but when it comes to All Out power and the excitement of more power or at least a better feel, you're not going to get that from the grizzly, and sounds like the new 19 isn't any different then the 16 through 18 models. I had a 16 model that I traded off this summer that's probably one of the most disappointing things ever boughten there's very little excitement in the engine Department.

I had 4 new Grizzlies and bought a new KQ 750 Rugged edition in 2017. I went KQ because my bro had 3 of them and we would switch on the trail through out the years. Over time his ranting about the KQ and our identical riding conditions made me want to try my own I have had the 17 for a year and a half. I will not put down a Grizzly as I really liked every single one I had. But guess what I am picking up today? 2019 King Quad 750 SE.😎
