Such a clean layout of a board this amp has great power being full ridge same power at 1.5 to 4 ohm I think that's the best class d style.

I love the sound of alpine subs and amps the little sub u showed flexing was nice 1 of my favorite class ab circuits is alpine 3545 model rated for around 250 RMS and does closer to 750 I also love the kicker zr 1,000 and all the older zr models

Some people don't like these amps. I personally love the look of them, and they feel very clean to me. Their power ratings are always good to look at too

i need one of those three way switches for my JL1000/1v2. The Mode slope (off/12db/24db) switch is corroded and barely makes connection so that amp only works if you mess with the button perfectly.

My 12" is currently slamming the full phat 125vrms (could take more actually) and it got me thinking, what would be the breakdown voltage of that enamel on the voice coil windings? I'd be devastated if I killed it, not by heat, but just voltage breakdown alone.

Do i have to read voltage ontop of the cap casing where there is a ❌

What would you say is a high quality bang for buck modern amp?

10r is fine 😁 anything between 4r7 amd 47r will be OK! As long as they're all the same!

How do I diag a amp that does not power on at all I have give it 12 volts in but nothing turns on what should the first thing I look for be

Man i hate the drive ic replacement. That amp and alpine sub i know sounded great even free air.

What caused my 500/1v2 to melt the 12v connector?(shop installed) Even with melted connector the amp still worked so the shop refused to replace amp. I had trouble trusting it since so it sits in its box. Where can I get a replacement 12v connector and do you think it will be safe to use again?

If a connection comes loose it could cause sparking which can cause a fire or melt connectors, but without seeing a image of it, can't say for sure. You would think a fuse would blow if that was the case, that is if a fuse was installed.

Where can i get new MOSFETs from?

I have a 500\1 slash....I opened up everything seems to be ok but it seems lime a switch is messed up but it only sounds like its working at half power any help????

Spray all the switches with 99% isopropyl alcohol and flick them back and forth many times to clean the contact rails

Hey sam i have a jl 1500/1 its basically new out the box it ran fir 1 hour then niw its giving me a solid red light saying its in thermal shut down i multimeter the pos and. Neg no beeping so the power and output sude i tested ok i tested the thermal sistor even it is ok any ideas what it can be ? I visually see nothing wrong

Sounds like output fets, measure across them ☺

@@barevids I measured them 3205 chips all look good on multimeter checking continuity I get about the same number and no dead shorts only dead short I'm getting is on a grey transistor with the different color stripes there's 4 and 1 reads dead short u think if I removed that dead short 1 it be ok to power up also nothing gets warm when I power up also the clip lights stays on with no input plugged in or anything plugged into the output

@@barevids I measured across them all seemed normal reading but the silkscreen is totally fine from output mosfets they are like blanks like Jl is hiding what they are

@@barevids output fets look brand spanking new this amps was took out the box played for 1 hour then stopped cause thermal shutdown but amp was not hot barely warm gain on 3 barely in
