Brilliant stuff. It's the bits that you have left in, that others leave out, that make all the difference. The views looking down a wave as you paddle out, glimpsing other surfers, miles away at the bottom of the wave, behind you, that allow us to partly gauge the emmence waves that you are surfing. Excellent work. I really enjoyed it. Thanks from Porthtowan, England.

One of the coolest surfing videos I've ever seen to give perspective of what it's really like out there for those of us who will never experience it personally. Lots of paddling against the currents, waiting for sets and talking with other surfers, the size of the waves (wow), the wipeouts and the perfect runs. Thanks for sharing this (mostly) uncut footage!! (not a surfer in this lifetime but fascinated by it and LOVE water)
My favorite part of this is how it showcases the brutal ferocity of the ocean. You can see the strength he puts in to get over or under the waves as he paddles out. Then the speed at which he has to push to get into position. Love every minute of this video

I said this many times in your films but your POV films are very special. I am a huge fan of them. The viewer really appreciates the hard work that goes into something difficult like Jaws!! I feel as if I got a major workout and I wasn't even there. It is just such a special treat to watch these clips. Thank you so much and please keep doing what your doing Nathan!!
I love how you're always smiling! Dude, you read the waves so well!
Love how stoked you were for your friend at the end, seem like a genuine fella! Epic video!
I alwas feel bad for those people behind him who don’t make it over the wave and just gets thrown over the falls
Nathan This is my absolute favorite video. It shows the speed of the wave so well. I watched it the first time you posted and again today. I'm a New Jersey surfer. Started in 1966 at a time when it was crowded with 5 guys out. Longboarder from day one. A sort board to me is 9' I loved sitting outside waiting for the clean up sets. I got more bigger waves that way. Thanks for the great video.

Your KZread channel is underrated. Let me just put it this way: your buddies like Koa & Jamie have strong moto or catchphrases. And yours smiling on everything you're doing is priceless. Pipe, Teahupo'o, Pe'ahi, sailing with your bro, foiling, you're really about laughing & smiling. Priceless! How about "Keep up the smile" or simply "Keep Smiling" as a tag phrase? 'Cos everything you publish is just shining with you smile & laughing. I'm older. When I was surfing (grew up in Tahiti), it was like "Take off and Die" or "More Core Division". But what you put out there is just about enjoying the stuff, and spreading the Aloha. And it's just refreshing, actually. Keep Smiling & charging hard!
Those guys after 10:15 got mowed down. 4 Jetskis move in!

What a PHENOMENAL video!!!! The POV is insane. The GoPro doesn’t begin to do justice on how heavy this video is. Would love to see a split screen of boat clips on all the same shots you were providing as it would only add to showing just how epic the things you are doing. Heck, hiking up and down the trail with your board and paddling off the rocks and over those sets is insane. And to have a smile on your face the whole time? LEGEND is an understatement. Much thanks and appreciation for sharing. Keep up the great work and stay safe!

6:39 that cough is a mood
Videos like this make me believe that this gotta be the best sport of all. Sadly never had the chance to learn it (and never was a swimmer good enough to dare). Now too old. Closest experience ever was on a boogie board at a beach in San Diego that had (for my taste) pretty respectable waves. And then I was caught between three 'monster waves' which I keep telling people were 10ft, but most likely in reality 6ft max, and I nearly drowned, and had the joy of being pushed along the ground with rocks the the size of my head left and right. So: when I see you guys doing this and in a great unedited video like this, I can't even express the respect I have for you. You made the right choice, this is an awesome sport!
Awesome Video, makes me feel good watching you guys having fun!
Agree with all these people. Effing legend.

Watching this POV is the closest I’ve gotten to feel the anxiety of a big wave closing in from the past two months of quarantine 😂.
I could watch this all day long. Quality . Subscribed and liked
Enjoyed watching that. . Made me feel like I myself had a lil session out there. . I love the fact that you seem to be even more stoked watching your buds and giving them praises and props. You seem like a bro that carries a humble attitude and can get along with anyone. Ive been told the same by my peers. I then noticed that you were born on June 10rh . Same as me. Shaka!!. My favorite clip to watch is the late chopes take off and succeeding to get the insane barrel of your life. I can't believe someone can take off after the wave is already tubing. I mean that wave was literally sucking up and starting to throw and somehow you got under that thing and just willed it to not only survive but blow my mind . Your a sick human budy, keep shredding so stoked to watch your videos.

Don’t ever stop celebrating your head dips brother. I remember when I started surfing, progressing was like a major accomplishment in my life. I loved the sport so much and I loved watching the amount of time I spent in the water, turn into something I could be proud of. I gave up my job and surfed 6 hours a day everyday ( unless flat ). It didn’t work out as I wasn’t good enough to get to the next level, but I loved it so much,. I always shared waves, was polite and even had 2 sponsors. I really just miss watching myself get better.
