coming from a pro dualtron rider (i have a thunder 2) i think its good that they are trying to make a product that is more afforable. and yes as far as build quality they are rock solid. my kaabo is sitting around with a burnt out controller ( thanks for the worthless warranty FLUID FREERIDE) while my thunder just keeps going and going. are dualtrons perfect? no. but they are well made . and that in itself has value....................
I was disappointed that we didn't get a GPS speed or acceleration tests, mention of the motor specs (rated motor output), or even what the differences are dimensionally between the standard and long body versions. It would have been helpful to see where it comes in against scooters like the Splach Twin (Vsett 8 Plus) and the newly released Apollo Go. It's also interesting to me that the standard MINI comes with 17AH and 21AH batteries while the Long Body comes a 12AH option (not stated here but discovered on their website). 1:25 "what is the extra money paying for?" Isn't it the same price as the standard MINI? Based on what you've shared, I still don't know what the difference is between the MINI and MINI Long Body. (Okay after listening to the video a 3rd time, the MINI was a single motor but the way that you stated it made it sound like an extra motor was an option, when in fact you just meant the that 2nd drum brake was the option, holy cow... clear as mud). And to not even know for sure what battery version they sent you... leaves me scratching my head. Are you not in contact with their team or is the communication so difficult that not even you can get a straight answer? Just out of curiosity, have you every thought of approaching these reviews with a topic / item checklist? Having watched 3-5 minutes of your normal speed and slow-mo stem wobble footage repeated over and over, then loading it into my video editor to see where most of the flex is happening, the majority (perhaps 2/3s) appears to be at the connection for the folding mechanism to the deck. The structural components seem to be oriented horizontally across the width of the deck rather than longitudinally. The Emove Cruiser for example, another scooter that folds via quick release below an actual stem, has two longitudinal runners that are each 3" long and 1/4" wide that bolt into a beefy trunnion, which attaches to the deck structure. In the Dualtron Mini, it looks like the folding mechanism bolts tto the deck top/skin directly. If the deck isn't thickened significantly at this area, then it's only natural that we see it flex. Too bad Dualtron built everything in such tank-ish fashion except the most critical area where flex and play would be most noticed.
Dualtron makes AMAZING SCOOTERS, tough and reliable.
Thank you for your review, it's great you give so much to the scooter community! I was gonna get one of these, but thankfull I didn't. I ended up going with the Teverun Fighter mini. It's actually about 72 pds but allot of nice features over this Dualtron. I can't believe the price of this. Dualtron needs to rethink the price. Cause there is too much competition at this price point.
I genuinely wish they'd at least TRY to produce a model with a sinewave controller. It might be "less durable" but square wave is harsher on the battery in every metric and, as a result, less efficient. I totally get why they go this route, given how insanely cheap square wave controllers are by comparison... but with as expensive as these scooters go for anyway, the point falls flat on its face the second you put any amount of thought behind it. Good review of an otherwise 'okay' product. I honestly can't see why you'd get this thing over something like the Eagle One 2.0.
Seems nice! Would be interested to compare it to the Mantis 8 or Varla Pegasus

Both those scooters are significantly less expensive and great value. Hard to find dual motor scooters that cheap that are good
Good review but... wish you reviewed the dualtron popular and talked more abkut acceleration and torque.
how's the throttle? Every Dualtron I have experience with is pretty old at this point, but they all have throttles which are essentially on or off. Is that still the case?
You should test out the Evercross H5 and tell me what you think. I think the new Evercross H5 is kinda a better version of the KuKirin M4.
MiniMotors USA just dropped price on every model from the Raptor 2 up. Thunder 3's are now the same price as Wolf King GTR, InMotion RS, and Nami Burn-E2 Max.
what mileage can such a scooter have on one battery, mine already has 4150KM
I'm hoping Max Fun send out there new scooter to you, they got a few new releases this year :)

what is your height and weight?
Damn im in the market for a Dual motor Reasonably portable Lighteright enough for a daily trek up and down a standard flight of stairs Removable battery if possible And 35mph hopeful top speed This seems both like exactly what i want while not being it at all

You could lug this up and down a flight of stairs if needed. Most scooters at this price are light enough to lift for shorter periods when needed
Why not get a Solar EQ for less money and disc brakes higher top end speed, etc?

Dualtron Spider 2 has much bigger battery (60v, 30ah), 10 inch tires, and same weight…. Only a few hundred bucks more at current sale price.
you don t show us in the video the whole procedure.....how you fold the column after you pull the pin first.....Is not that easy.....
I'm neutral about the brand but that stem flex is simply unacceptable by anyone who has the slightest for appreciation for sound engineering. I wouldn't buy that scooter even if it was $1000. The Splach Twin (the less expensive VSETT 8+) while not having all of the LED fanciness, is much more solid at the stem. When a manufacturer can't get this right, I don't care what other niceties or performance they add, a wiggle free stem is first and foremost.
nice also i am friends with jax

Thanks for watching!
Neu ist der gut, aber nach 2000 km fangen die Probleme an
It is not long body. Wrong subject
That's a weak scooter I'll never ever buy something like that lol
