Espathra and Bruxish are the most yassified Pokemon I've ever seen.

Some interesting new abilities this gen Glad to see they are trying new ideias

I suppose the reason why Purifying Salt lowers the power of ghost types is because people in the old days believed you can ward of evil spirits haunting you at night by placing a pile of Salt beneath your bed also fun fact that last opponents pokémon all had their German Names, Eisenkrieger, Schlurm, Zapplarang and Heerashai

This what I've been telling people, to me it's the only reason. I was wondering why it doesnt do the same to dark types too since in Japan dark types is Evil type. Guess for balancing reasons. Lowering ghost and dark along with not being status may be a tad too much lol

@@treygreypaws3689 maybe because Dark Types are not a supernatural kind of evil Ghost types are often... well ghostly, apparition like beings and wraiths that flat out eat souls and spirit people away like Duskull supposedly does to children that misbehave at night, that would probably match the description of these folklore beings more most Dark Type Pokémon can be destructive in their nature but most of them are just bullies that don´t play fair or have a foul temper and a lot of pokémon would fall into that category without being dark type, there is only a handful of Dark Type pokémon that could be considered maliciously evil, and some of those like Spiritomb share a Ghost type as well

I don't think they change the ability of megas

I love all of the new abilities, but rocky payload has to be my favorite due to the fact that rock type never gets any love.🙄 Also loved the Tauros move set with the curse ghost tera!

There were so many cool abilities added this Gen.

Beautiful dc to start us off in that first battle! Really awesome counters/predictions throughout all the matches! It was definitely key in showing off so many abilities in one battle. It really feels like everyone got a chance to shine! Gotta love Hex Glimmora and Cure Tauros! Very nice to see the chain boosts between Mabostiff/Flamigo/Espathra! Physical Farigirafe!! I also didn't know Armor Tail worked on things like Sucker Punch, so that was super cool to see! Absolutely wonderful vid from start to finish!

ayo bellibolt was popping off XD hes one of my new favorite mons of the gen so it was nice seeing it destroy koraidon

I love opportunist. While it's hard to compete with the standard calm mind, speed boost, Stored power set, its still a cool ability. If Espartha would have gotten Flatter as part of it's move set it would have been really strong.

My favourite new ability has to be sharpness, really simple ability but makes moves like psycho cut and night slash feel actually usable and works really nicely on Gallade

Special Kingambit is so much fun to use. Snarl, Grass Knot, Air Slash, and Flash Cannon/Steel Beam really gets some surprise KOs. You can even get a surprise Sucker Punch KO if the target is low health since they will think you have no priority. Yeah, the base 60 Sp. Att suuuucks but getting a surprise KO is hilarious. Also, should Kingambit's name be pronounced "Kin + Gambit" instead of "King Gambit", I mean, we could also call it "King Ambit" technically. Kingambit should have two Gs if its pronounced "King Gambit"... Kin Gambit also works since they're the king and they use their kin (relatives) as pawns (pawniard)
