Even if people think Lin choked on this one's closing, you have to admit Harimoto really deserved the win under the pressure + audience mostly supporting Lin.

Harimoto didn’t have to try much lol. Lin just gave him all the points with the ball barely touching Harimoto.

Lin Gaoyuan needs the best sport psychologist the Chinese national team can afford.

When the score turned 9-7 in the 7th, you could see the doubt and anguish in Lin's face.

Lin should've ended it during the 6th game. But I guess he was trying to relive that match against Timo Boll.

I have to say this is some insanely strong mental game from Harimoto. I really didnt expect that from him.

I did not, do not, will not expect him to be a winner. Hopefully we will not see him playing soon. Do not have self confidence, Kept playing same way when you need to take a time out, play different serves, stay close to table. lack of physical, mental, competitive play. I think he lost straight 7 points in less than one minute. He did touch ball 4 or 5 times during pathetic last 7 points. He has no power like of FZD,Ma Long in both forehand and back hand. Could not reach as he was away from table.

There's about 25-30 matches that deserve a movie. Maybe by relevance this one doesn't get in, but by script, it does

he might feel different pressure because he left his home in china to play in japan. it must be hard when you didn't understand japanese. maybe shouting was the only communication. i heard he studied hard and entered one of good universities. he is actually a polite, good young man. great kid. 👏

I love Harimoto

Game 6, at 10-5, Lin just crumbled under pressure. He couldn't even receive the balls, let alone attack or defend. 10-6, 3rd ball, dumps into the net. 10-7, 2nd ball, shoots off of the table. 10-8, 2nd ball, shoots off of the table. 10-9, 3rd ball, shoots off of the table. 10-10, 3rd ball, pushes into the net. My man didn't even give Harimoto a chance to screw up.

Lin almost win but at the time of championship point if he keep calm himself and take 1 tricky point then he would have won the final. Overall very good comeback from Harimoto. He shown very good confidence and won the final, 6 championship points defending not an easy job. Well deserved win for Harimoto 🏆

When those pressure situations hit, Lin just started making errors. He never even gave Harimoto a chance to mess up. Lin would hit it off, in the net, or miss the ball completely. It's just heartbreaking. I feel terrible for him.

that's why China team tends to abandon him for Lin's inconsistency and mental weakness in the deciding match, China team coaches were so disappointed with him when they had gave him so many opportunities to take part in WTT series

Heartbreaking for Lin. 5 matchpoints given away with 5 direct faults. I gather the fighting spirit of Tomokazu, but that match was lost by Lin.

很不喜欢看张本的比赛，每一个球都用尽全力叫，还连叫好几声，令人很烦！！！对手也会受他的叫声影响而发挥不好！可以说赢了也胜之不武！不叫，张本赢不了球！！！随着张本的身高和年龄的增长，他以前靠反手速度取得优势的能力会越来越弱，正手还是向以前一样的差，没什么进步！虽然还能保持一定高水平，但能赢顶尖水平的机会会越来越少！

张本为自己呐喊鼓气，符合规则合情合理，而且很多选手都会呐喊，包括林也会喊，更何况这场比赛现场的观众几乎全都为林呐喊助威，为林的呐喊声此起彼伏，张本仅一人为自己呐喊。还说比赛胜之不武？比赛是两位选手一分一分打出来的，你这种说法太不尊重两位运动员了。
