As a player and coach, they are in favor of a strict ban on these "anti" covers...😘it is a shame that the ITTF has allowed this kind of covers into legal competition, it completely spoils its reputation, it is not a fair game😉

I believe that the ideal is to become good enough to be able to defeat any type of pin, because if it were that disadvantageous there would be several players in the world rankings and we see that this is not the case.

@@robertsotkowsky7974 There's no denying that in terms of skill, a player with anti spin, for example, with minimal knowledge can beat high tension rubber players who have been training for years, but that's where the motivation lies for me, "don't lose to a guy who don't even attack" "don't lose to a guy who has trained less time than me" but I agree with you, I think the pips players game is ugly and similar to ping pong

you should write the dates of the matches and events to show your respects to audience ! Table tennis is becoming more interesting, more attractive for beginners, and more entertaining with longer rallies in 2024, thanks to that many professional tournaments choose lightweight balls. Even the new 2024 year Nittaku balls are more lightweight than old Nittaku balls. But these balls need to become more lightweight, for example 2.5grams balls instead of 2.7 gram balls. Lightweight balls are greate for table tennis world. It makes table tennis becomes more attractive and easier to begin for beginners in our busy world. It is very important to make table tennis become easier for beginners, because nobody will pay few years to train just for capably beginning play amateur social table tennis games in our busy world. Thanks to lightweight balls, it is now possible to exist many playing styles in table tennis sport. It makes table tennis to become more wealthy various, more entertaining. If use heavyweight balls, then other playing styles can not be competitive in table tennis sport, but just smashsing - countering style can exist only. I am sure that if use heavyweight balls, for example the old Nittaku balls, then Mladenovic has no any chances against Gauzy. But here little lightweight balls, so Mladenovic has chances, and he won. Thus, the ITTF must as soon as possible apply lightweight balls of 2.5gram to replace the current 2.7 gram balls.

I just love how junk players get a point with their rubber doing the work and they pump their fist like THEY did something. Why that is allowed in Table Tennis is just plain wrong. It goes against every sportsman like spirit of your skill against mine. They don't come to the table with just their skill, say what you want but you cannot escape this fact. When you play with junk you come to the table with something other than just your skill!

You obviously have no clue and never played such a rubber. Otherwise you would have known that it is just as difficult to handle, in fact, the rubber is inferior, that is why noone is playing it at top level.

@@gimli_2536 Your ignorance is astounding. I have no clue or have never played it… laughable that you even utter these words with no knowledge of me whatsoever. Even further to say that “NO” top player uses it which shows even a deeper ignorance…. You are coming to a gun fight with a knife! I have used it in training and have 40 years worth of clue son. I will entertain this just once just to clarify and then I’m done, of course you will feel the need to get the last word in no matter how misguided you may be because that seems to be your nature. Each and every time I have engaged with anyone on this subject (and it has been many hundreds of times) it goes exactly the same way. It always starts out the same and exactly as you have done by saying that I have no clue or it takes so much skill…. Funny how those that need to enhance their skill beyond their own capabilities by using ‘technology’ that alters spin ARTIFICIALLY always speak on the subject in a very defensive and attacking manner. And they do this because they can’t defend themselves or the fact that it is an artificial additive. Think about it they choose to use it in the first place because they had a “hole” in their game and/or just had to win more at any cost. Even to the point of using artificial deception that is outside of their capabilities. If it was so legitimate then why are people triggered to defend their decision to use it with the same “defensiveness?” *** (We are talking Long Pips, Anti-Spin, or any other junk designed to alter or reverse spin artificially too be clear)*** It comes down to ONE thing. The player comes to the table with something OTHER than their own skill! Period. NO manner how hard you try to disprove that assertion, you can not because it is a FACT.
