How old is this match as at today?

This was truly one of the greatest women's matches of all time. The part at the end where the entire NXT roster comes out to congratulate Sasha and Bayley just goes to show how close all of them really are.

It's my favorite personally. The wrestling was great and the storytelling was incredible. The crowd went from "super excited to see a historic match" hot to "okay, Sasha has to lose" hot.

Most beautiful moment - 35:56 bayley having her arm raised in the ring looks back to the stage to Sasha and they share a head nod acknowledgement of everything they have done together.

Easily one of the greatest female competitors in the entire world

Charlotte and Rhea blew me away last night on night 1 of Mania. I hadn’t seen a single womens match make me feel that way in a long time so I came back here to appreciate this masterpiece

One of the greatest wrestling matches of all time featuring two of my all time favorites, Bayley and Sasha Banks. The emotion at the conclusion of this match said it all. Sasha and Bayley made history. They had a great Hell in a Cell Match against each other last Sunday but I don’t even think that topped the match Sasha and Bayley had here at NXT Takeover: Respect. Fantastic match! Ironically this was the first time I watched a NXT Pay-per-view as well.

*Get chills watching this everytime! Anytime Sasha & Bayley get together, they make memories that would last forever!!! They are trendsetters!° They ALWAYS tear the house down! That's why they are in a league of their own*

But I’m telling you at the end of the day, these two stars have put on one of THEE GREATEST matches in NXT history, let alone WWE history !!!! And to see where they are today, Bayley has proved how much talent she truly has. And Sasha has always been the GOAT. I’ll forever love this match, as these two are true two of the GREATEST of ALL time !!!!

Can’t decide if this match or their previous Takeover match was better. Both were definitely best matches ever.

Brooklyn and Respect are a 1 2 punch combo. Brooklyn made people realize just how far the ladies had gotten with a near perfect match, Respect made it almost normal for top women t be the main event with just a strong, enjoyable main event

This was a very emotional match it was so badass I really wanted see their rivalry to begin again.

I never consider any star ratings, whoever gives it. I just enjoy the matches. But, I gotta agree, this match truly deserves 5 stars from anyone. In my opinion, it took the women's revolution to an another level. And props to the NXT crowd also who make every match worthy because of their enthusiasm from the very beginning which was quite evident in this match also.

There aren’t matches like this anymore!! The chemistry between Sasha and Bayley will always provide a 5 star match. The crowd was all for every moment, so many chants , so many omg moments, the respect for bayley and Sasha from the crowd, not too mention that thank you Sasha moment brought tears with William regal like damn absolute greatest match of all TIME👏🏽🖤

They got this is awesome chants even before they started to even wrestle! This match is going down in history . STAMPED AND APPROVED!

While their previous NXT Women's Championship Match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn won the NXT Match of the Year Award, this 30 minute Iron Man Match for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: Respect however, won the inaugural Pro Wrestling Illustrated Award for Match of the Year. And the aftermath was just as emotional with both women being presented with a bouquet of flowers. Not to mention that there was that hidden theme as well: that Sasha Banks was officially moving to the 'main-brand' and that Bayley was going to lead the Women's Division in NXT as the Women's Champion from that moment on. The changing of the guard.

Sasha and Bayley are PERFECT together!! Not even Charlotte and Becky can tell an "in ring story" like these two, NO WAY!!

Izzy's Dad's face at 16:15 is so so so good. Knowing he knew it was going to happen and his face knowing that Izzy got to be an active participant in a history making moment like this is just so special. This match is just perfection. Everything just clicked and they both knocked it out of the park. First ever WWE PPV Women's Main Event and they blew every preconceived notion of what women's wrestling was.

One of the best women's matches and I'm glad that Bayley and Sasha Banks are signed to WWE

At the end, when Sasha is overome with emotions, you can see Bayley crying over her best friend. These two were born to wrestle forever. If Sasha comes back, we NEED another feud.

No, history does not need to repeat itself. Although Sasha makes the better heel, shell be the babyface in their feud whenever it happens. Bayley only just became a heel, and is excelling. It wouldn’t make sense to put her into the role that made her an irrelevant joke on the main roster.

@Jay sasha is a natural heel. Bayley on the other hand needs to try really hard to be a convincing heel. Just watch all the stuff sasha has done when she is a heel. Bayley can get over with the fans more as face than a heel and sasha is the opposite. Plus there is no reason for sasha to turn face Bayley is the one who has been screwing her over

What is probably going to happen at summerslam if Vince actually does something right for once is that sasha will lose the raw womens championship to Auska because of bayley accidentally interfering. Then sasha will give her one last chance and the next week they will lose the tag team titles because of bayley and that will make sasha finally snap.
