Heathrow Express could have inherited the Class 379s from storage rather than using Class 387s and modifying them to Class 387/1a. I do like them and they are very nice trains and very clean.
Heathrow express need go beyond the airport join on to South west train track because elizabeth line comes from South East London?
Looks good, but the ticket price is extortionate.
Struggling to see why this service costs so much.

Because they know that if you arrived via air, you have money to spend on transportation. They're milking it.
