While military dialog is important for both sides, in my opinion it could easily be resolved if United States would adhere to one simple principle:- Do not do anything to the others for things that you don't want others to do onto you. If United States does not want Chinese to build military bases surrounding America, they should not build military bases surrounding China. Should US does not want Chinese marine to sail close to the shore of United States, they simply do not send their ships to China Sea. But I am certain that it is impossible to ask US not to practice exceptionism.

This is just not a successfully useful politician face

The US should seriously consider selling Taiwan for a good price, it is a good deal for the great powers because China will get Taiwan back sooner or later, no matter what the cost. No doubt Americans should study the history of how unfavorable the international environment was for China when it entered the Korean War and sent troops to Vietnam, but it still happened and achieved its strategic goals. Most Chinese hate Russians as much as Americans do, being on Russia's side was never a positive option, but now the US is forcing China to help Russia, because Russia is down and the next besieged country is China, China has no choice.

What do you think will happen if the US leaves the Indo-Pacific? Will china seek to achieve hegemony over the region? China's security is not threatened by anyone yet they continue to expand their military. They only need to expand and modernize the military to defend the country and their interests. They have the right to trade and work with other nations just as we do. They perceive the US and any of our allies as a threat even though we trade with China as do our allies. If China doesn't show and display it's military in the region anymore which is doubtful we should be very careful on how to react to it. We really don't know their intentions, except for Taiwan and it's hard to trust them even though China claims they don't want conflict and that they want peaceful co-existence with other nations. Just remember that in spite of China being one of the largest if not the largest economy in the world and having the largest military in the world, the people serve the government and then the party and it's the party and it's their leaders that run the country as they see fit and other countries do the same. As flawed as our democracy is, the government serves the people and though at times it may not seem that way and it's our people that make this country great not the government and it should be that way for all nations. If you don't like that of are fed up with living here, go move to another country like China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Iraq, Afghanistan and see what it feels like it. it is said that so many nations misinterpret our intentions and think we want to rule and take over the world, because their governments tell their people that and they believe it. We're not the bad guys nor are allies. Hopefully world peace and co-existence will become a reality sooner than later.
