What a great and amazing plane the Ju-88 was !! In my opinion, the best of World War II, due to its capabilities, robustness, simplicity, versatility and uses that could be given, as well as its design, which dates back to 1935, allowed designers to make it evolve without becoming obsolete or outdated. A beast of burden and war that played roles so dissimilar as Fast Bomber, Heavy Hunt, Distant Intercept Fighter, Anti Ship, High Range Reconnaissance, Fast Reconnaissance, and Test Bed of both armament and thrusters. What's more: the design and nominal construction allowed assembling up to 3 different types of engines in the same cell, at the end of the assembly line. Engines as different as Radial or 12-cylinder inverted V. Congratulations on the video! Greetings from Argentina!

Tell you what Fishyyy, I watch a lot of these videos from a lot of different contributors. And most of them are top notch, with a few exceptions of course. Yours, Takolander's, Zetexy's, just to name a few are all amazing to watch. Your vids are all fantastic and simply a joy to sit back and relax and take an imaginary trip back in time, at least that's what I do. Now, I said all that to say this---This Ju-88 Malta Raid is by far my favorite on KZread. It is 100% fantastic thru and thru and perfectly done. I always find myself coming back here with mug of coffee in hand and sit down next to you in the bombardier/front gunner "seat" and take off and escape for an hour or so. Well done sir.

Many ju 88s bombed Malta in Mediterranean during ww2, the Italians and Germans heavily attacked the island with aircraft

The aircraft colour is peculiar to Mediterania theatre? It's beatiful, much like sand colour of Afrika Korps.

Obviously this is not intended to show conditions at the height of the siege of Malta in 1942. More like mid to late 1941 I presume, or perhaps even slightly earlier in that year.

Very good video: the visuals and the mission script, the Ju 88 showing some age, the cockpit looks very polygon indeed. Cliffs of Dover´s JU 88 version is top notch, but the game not really.

The game is beautiful. The sound and aircraft details are perfect. But the city of Valletta did not gave hexagonal street layout. Three wide and four narrow streets running parallel with the peninsula and others running perpendicular, and there were no open spaces with factory installations and fuel tanks. Just houses, churches, government buildings, auberges and the palace with fort Saint Elmo at the tip. A simple research on Google would have sufficient.

+Choucroute2000 Blah blah blah, moron. The graphics are totally adequate for a game of this type. Il-2 1946, by the way, is probably one of THE best WW2 air combat simulators ever made.

Oh one of those who are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on terrible flight sims because the graphics are better the in the sims that made sense. Guys like you are the reason why we haven't had a halfway decent new flightsim in 15 years
