Seen here is the Full turnout from the New Princes Street Fire Station in Ipswich, Suffolk. First out the door is S03P3 whilst the Unimog, S03T9, is reversed into the yard to have it's Pods swapped over. Due to the extreme heat the UK has been facing recently, the Wildfire Pods have been kept on the Unimogs primarily to ensure their rapid deployment to combat these fires. However this means that when an animal or water rescue comes in, the Wildfire Pod must be switched out using the onboard HIAB crane. This is on average a 10 minute task, which requires lifting one pod off, and placing down another onto the Unimog's flat bed.
Whilst this is being done, the On-call Crews are paged and the station tones drop as they are requested to take the Enhanced Rescue Tender, S03R5, to the scene. They turnout whilst the finish packing up the Unimog.
The Unimog, S03T9, then turns out last taking with it the specialist animal rescue gear.
