@@mansbestfriend1995 OMG!!!

You have a gift for making dogs feel comfortable around you. Great groom! He reminds me if a childhood dog I had that was a Spitoodle - half Spitz, half Poodle. Talk about high maintenance! But he had that same pretty curly tail. He was well worth the work it took to keep his coat manageable and clean.

@@uteschneider3349 that's what I thought, and I was just confused if people from the USA would call a kleinspitz or mittelspitz a “pom”? Pomeranian is a separate breed, like a smaller version of them. Also, I think he just brushed out the loose undercoat, like you should so it doesn’t get tangled. You can’t *cut* undercoat, but brushing is fine, and necessary.

Hey Damjan! I have a parson russel - maltese terrier mix who loves to swim in the summer. We live in greece. Sometimes during summer we get to go twice or even three times in a day. It's really fun. Truth is she's having a great time during summer, and I am having a great time doing this, too. As a result, though, we need to get bathed daily, since of what I know, salty water shouldn't be staying on her fur for too long. I use a combination of: 1) Pharmaceutical anti-rush shampoo, 2) Just a normal coconut shampoo for white-coated small dogs, 3) Non-chemical anti-lice shampoo that works mostly with herbal extracts 4) Johnson's Human Baby Shampoo with Chamomile and 5) Regular Green Soap bars. I know that dogs are not supposed to be using human stuff, even baby stuff, but I have noticed that the latter two have been helping her with her scratching, quite a lot. Forgot to say at that point, both Spring 2020 and Spring 2021, that we spent together, she appeared to exhibit allergy symptoms, doctor said, probably just spring allergies to pollen from the flowers blooming all around, and she gets very itchy at this time of the year. But then again in June it stops until next spring. Are there any actual long-term risks from everyday bathing? Plus, I see that her skin is accepting green soap and baby shampoo perfectly, it's even calming her. Is there any danger of skin conditions occuring years after the human-soap baths, that I am not understanding about right yet? What is your opinion?

Dann benutze keine Kernseife! Über Umgang mit Hunden beim Trimmen siehe auch SHU AND TREE auf YT. Ich hoffe, es hilft dir! :)

Great job! I have a German Spitz myself and I have a question: is this grooming tool used to take the hair that the dog sheds or does it cut the undercoat itself? How would you groom this breed if the hair gets too long? My Spitz's hair is just like this one but it gets long and scraggly in parts like the main and around the ears and on the pantaloons. My groomer just razored her but I don't like the look, now she looks like a Pomeranian! Would you use scissors to cut the excess length? Thank you!

Sometimes thinning sheers are used if the coat is too long on the body and mane. 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

He looks so much like my Japanese Spitz! The nose is pointier but the coat is exactly like my bitch - boy is thicker and super fluffy. I love their Teflon coat 😍. Great grooming!

They don’t really need a lot of washing as the dirt brushes off their coat easily and they don’t smell. Unless they got out and rub themselves on something stinky.
