This is an excellent video, Conor! Thanks a million for sharing. My question about the weighted lateral lunge is: Is it acceptable for the foot you're lunging on to point slightly outwards? I'm asking because I'm presuming that the foot should always be pointing ahead.

Nice to see an insight of how you train, definitely going to consider buying the programme quick question tho, will a normal bodybuilding workout routine benefit me on the pitch?

Thank you! If you want to improve performance as an athlete, an athlete focused session is probably better for you than a body building one!

I love it. 10/10 routine. People don't understand how effective bands are in a workout. Love the chest press+pull up superset. Perfect and effective way to target every upper body muscles.

In season, I normally do a Strength Session and a Power Session in the week, plus one Recovery Session. I have a full GK Gym programme over on my website if you want more help with it!
This dude is leaving my dream. Question: do you think nowadays a free kick scoring GK would have space in a roster? Like Rogério Ceni

Hi Conor,How many days a week should I follow this routine?One day at intervals?Because right now I have a meniscus injury.I do certain leg exercises.I also work out my upper body every other day. How should I make this program?Help please🙏🏻

Hi mate, there is a full programme on the website if you want a structure for your gym training - but I usually train in the gym 2 or 3 times a week. Make sure you speak to a physio about your injury - the last thing you want to do is make it worse.
Hi Connor was just wondering if you had any tips for me on this I’m a young goalkeeper who struggles to get length and height and goal kicks and was wondering if you had anything’s that I could do from home to improve my leg strength

A few things - a lot of kicking is down to technique rather than strength, so have a look through the Distribution / Goal Kick tutorial videos that I have here on the channel. I also have a few home workouts on here from back in Lockdown, so if you are looking to improve strength and can't go to the gym, they should be able to help!

Can 13 year olds do this or we need to do less reps or maybe on some of the exercises we make a easier variation??

The exercises should be fine! Just do them with lower weight!

Tough question - I like the landmine split jerk, works the explosivity of the legs and the arms!

Normally in season I will do one strength gym session & one power gym session per week. I’ll also do a recovery session too the day after a game 👍🏼
