This episode hurts my soul so much. BTE focusing on the three guys who lost is so, so good. 1. John Silver was sad that he lost but he still has his cult friends who 100% support him and wants to make him feel better and hug him. "FRIENDSHIP!" All is well in the end because FUCK HANGMAN! 2. Eddie hates himself by letting his mother and family down. He acknowledges what he's done to get to the top and sold his soul which he hasn't done in the indies. No one can save him anymore and there's no turning back so he has to live with that decision until the very end. He's alone at that moment but he still has his FAMILY and WRESTLING with him this Wednesday. He's been down for so many times in his 18 years of pro-wrestling career so he won't give it up that easily. This is his last chance. He'll keep trying but at what cost? 3. Hangman has NO ONE but his liquor and failing once again just cements in his mind that he's the ROH jobber guy that Matt and Nick adopted. He's never good enough and he only got that AEW contract because he was part of the Bullet Club and was friends with the right people. Adam's drowning in his self-hatred, self-pity and depression and no one's helping him. His old friends have abandoned him because of his own insecurities and mistakes. Again, he runs away from his problems and makes the pain go away by drinking. Can the Dark Order save him? Can he save himself?

Eddie is just legit. Adam Page is on an odyssey and it's awesome. I don't think it's quite Jericho/Mox, Gargano/Ciampa or even Roman/Bloodline level but it's still very early. I don't think I'll mark out that bad as its obvious he's gonna take the title off of Omega one day. Depends on what happens between now and then I guess. A tryst with the Dark Order and then a feud with Brodie Lee would be a great start.

Evil uno chased Hangman at end, i think a recruitment for dark order is coming.

Raw and smackdown do over 1 million every week. Aew can barley score 800k. Also aews ratings have gone down in comparison to last year. And if Corny stops watching aew they will lose 100 - 200k fans

@@txcforever right, I fell like this is the part of his story that a lot of people seem to forget about. All of his suffering leads back to himself. And I feel like once he realizes this he can start to get better, cause right now he’s at rock bottom.

DUDE what a fucking amazing episode, AEW has my heart. every single thing these guys do is just.. so classic and unforgettable the story telling for the hangman stuff is epic. this show literally is an extension of the Dynamite/Dark universe and is a must watch for everyone that's a fan of AEW you are rewarded every single week with tidbits and eggies from previous episodes and things all tie to together with long term story telling.. how can you not fucking love this stuff if your a true pro wrestling fan.. i legit wasnt watching wrestling for 5 years and when AEW came up with the first PPV before they officially became a company.. it was set it stone that they would one day be the most epic promotion.

This was awesome! Being the Elite adds so much to the enjoyment of AEW....IT SHOULD be advertised more on the show!!

As happy as I was to see the young bucks with the championships, my heart damn near melted after seeing hangman. That and the last scene with dark order were some of the saddest things ive ever seen. Even Stu Grayson is trying to motivate John Silver after his loss in Full Gear, that's why Dark Order is my favorite faction in AEW.

Aww, the Hangman bit was just sad to see. I remember first turning into AEW on it's first Dynamite, and not caring who Hangman was the first couple of months. Ever since he's been the one guy I've been invested in the most with the constant stories. You love to see it. Thank you AEW, the Bucks, and everyone else. I love wrestling again!

@@angelynx1prime100% agree with you, Brodie is going to get Hangman to join the DO. And, now that Cody lost the TNT title he is going to try and help Hangman, BUT ITS TO LATE FOR THAT NOW... Cody showed that he cares more about the TNT title than he does about Hangman. Hangman needed someone to help him and be by his side, but who was there to console Hangman in his time of need... it sure as hell wasn't Cody.

Love this episode, Eddie Kingston's promo really hit the heart, the development of the Adam Page storyline is great and several comedic moments this episode.

I've been following you guys for five years, and I have to say Adam Pages story is just about the most courageous storytelling I've seen anywhere. His descent into drinking and depression is something I wasn't sure you could pull off in terms of pro wrestling, but I was wrong. You guys are doing a commendable job with this, and if you dont hear it enough, thank you from one person who knows far into the abyss you can actually go before hitting bottom.

Guys like Kingston are why I watch AEW.

It was good but I don't feel like it lived up to its own hype. I'd give it 4/5 stars. If anything, the match just proved that FTR can't win the big matches without Tully. Which is not a good look. Might be just me tho lol

I like to think all the predictions on the Future Phone will come true in some way.

That Eddie Kingston segment should be aired on Dynamite next Wednesday. Stuff like that is pure gold and real emotion.

Eddie is The King. Underrated and overlooked for years. The man can make you feel every emotion in just one 3 min promo. I have always been a fan of Eddie since his days in Chikara. The man is like a fine wine he only gets better as the years roll on. The man should become a booker or writer.

I don't know who Eddie was before him coming to AEW, but he does have some of the best mic skills. I don't know how much of what he said is real, but damn it was believable.

Who else is still feeling the pain of seeing Adam Page lose then yell with everything he had left "Fuck Hangman".

Between Hangman's storyline and Kingston's I genuinely was on the verge of tears. Goddammit, BTE, you were supposed to be my escape from reality, not make me cry. Can't fucking wait to see what happens on Dynamite though.
