Can't even blame him, he's blinded by alcohol and trauma, after the Elite ordeal I guess he can only trust people after knowing they are not going to leaving him even if he fucks up and is afraid of being expelled from a friend group, it's easier to just drift away than verbally hear you are not welcomed there. It's a smart choice but the wrong one, it means pushing people away until they've gone too far to comeback anytime soon (now I'm sad and started rambling, you can absolute ignore everything from here on lol) He was manipulated by Cody to distrust his friends, Kenny tooks his shot at the US championship from him, the elite solves their problems with Adam not even in the back of his mind, when everything was good he was expelled from the BC because he was part of the Elite. They go to aew, it was supposed to be his time to shine but he kept losing his big matches, tried to walk away from the elite, his friends didn't let him leave in the friendly manner he wanted. Now not only feeling like he failed, he felt trapped in the one thing that was good in his life, like, when he tags with Kenny and starts winning he still can't trust the bucks, he's afraid of losing again, losing to them. He meets ftr, friends that ask nothing from him, it's a breath of fresh air, they are the cool guys and they want to be his friends because… he is like them? Adam gets even more fearful of losing them and even more of losing the titles and gets manipulated again. He realizes his mistake and trying to make right his wrongs, because he doesn't want to be alone, more than anything, he realizes he cannot stand being alone. But he is expelled from the Elite. And he punches a mirror, he understood if he loses Kenny he will be all alone and he is trying, so hard. He tries to get sober for their title defense. He knows being a team is all t a ts keeping them together, those titles is their glue, and he gives he's all, he really thinks that after showing he gave everything he had Kenny wouldn't leave him. So exhausted he doesn't realise Kenny considered beating him with a table or left him fall flat on his face. He's so self destructive through this, he is "pure poison". And alone. He wasn't "quite ready to join a cult" back then because it would be a desperate decision, but now he ain't ready to join TDO because he is afraid of the feeling of being officially left behind. And Hardy is trying to manipulate him now as if he hasn't been manipulated by everyone in his story, it seemed like he switched the contracts in Dynamite so maybe Anna's words woke him up. And he doesn't want to be part of the order, but he still wants friends. The man is haunted by the fear of losing and of being left behind, I love his story so, soooo much.

Sammy vs. 5 is the Kung-Fu sequence I didn’t know I needed.

Its unfortunate main wwe shows hinder the better tag teams they have. New day, usos and the bar all showed they could be all time greats in the right environment. They all had great ppv matches but then get lost in the wwe shuffle or broken up.

not the strongest episode of bte but 5 answering the recruitment emails gets the dark order back on track and moving forward. that has huge storyline potential. assuming this is how they bring in someone new who does everyone think it could be? and should that person be a horrible influence enough to finally bring hangman in so he can free them from him?
