Years ago I first saw your video on Polleni. I breed and supply them now in my country. I wish international shipping wasn't so expensive because I want to send you some. Thanks for the inspiration.

Bro you don’t have to put nutrient rich substrate in the 20 no tech. You can just add root tabs around the tank they disintegrate and provide nutrients over a time period. Great video aswel man I love the mixed species tank 🔥

Thanks heaps for taking the time to video all your aquariums. Best setup on youtube for sure. Love all your tanks and what I inspire to at least replicate in a small way. My 10ft tank I'm filling out with central Americans. I have similar lighting to you too. I actually prefer that over the bright artificial look.

I’ve been missing your uploads man. That Gephyrus is an absolute accomplishment man. The untold difficulty of gettin rare cichlids to large sizes is that you have to treat them for parasites sooooo often. Some species I recommend are istlanums, caquetaia spectabilis, and trimacs. Your Central Americans are awesome, just those vieja esc breeds all kinda blend in after a while.

Thank you, I had to treat my Gephyrus almost monthly for the first 4 years for parasites. It definitely was a struggle getting him to adulthood

Why do you keep your tanks so dark especially that 800 gallon It doesn't compliment the tank very well. You don't get a really good perspective of how big That thing is when just the front of it is the only thing that's lit some lights in the back would really show off the depth of that Tank And be more enjoyable to view, It's like that on all of your tanks. I'm assuming that's by choice whatever works for you obviously. But it just doesn't really compliment the fish or the tank . None of the fish in there are light-sensitive. I've kept these exact same fish And never had a problem with lighting bothering them . But you do you bro , I just personally don't like looking at That dark of an aquarium.

The tank is darkened by the plant growth above, the fish may not mind brighter light, but they are more comfortable in the darker environment. I personally like the look of it, kind of gives it a deeper feel
