As they say..."just let it go, baby...let's play catch" I was saying to myself after each pitch, "okay, hit this". Urias as so dominate in the last two innings! I dont think that anyone could've hit off him the last two innings. He was head and shoulders a man above men!

Urias, is finally starting to reach his potential. The pinpoint control was masterful and he was calm and determined.

I never 4get the Gibson hit back in 88. That was beautiful. Loved the way he ran around the bases. With his arm n hand clinched closed bringing it in toward his body.. like "yes, yes yes. no reason for suspicion so why suspicious? Why an asterisk? It was a weird postseason but the Dodgers had to EARN IT as much (if not MORE) than any other team in baseball history. They had to win 13 games in the postseason as apposed to 11 like usual. Then they didn't get home field advantage which they earned. No team has ever had to do those things.

Not even a Dodgers fan, but the final strike is just awesome to watch

I keep coming back to watch this and can't help but to tear up. We've waited for this moment for so long. It feels too good.

This was a whole team effort but Julio was magical. Unsung hero’s Floro striking out Arozarena and Wood’s two great innings and finally but the most important Barnes getting the hit that resulted in the hook for Snell. Finally Dodgers win!

But I mean sometimes the stats do not lie ie Kershaw was throwing a gem in the 2017 WS and Roberts decided to leave kershaw in for the 7th despite his stats saying he starts having trouble there. Lo and behold, he fell apart that inning... could go either way honestly

@@andrewgarcia7405 Yea I remember that but that game, Roberts let Kershaw manage the game and that's why we lost that. Kersh was really stubborn about staying in despite giving up a few hits and being in a tough spot. Not only did stats show that but the game was showing that. Roberts has gotten so much better with trusting his aces while managing the game and not overmanaging. A few times I thought he was overmanaging but generally, it was spot on. His decisions in the Braves series was especially impressive and also the World Series minus Game 4.

I'm going to watch this a Million times!

It was actually Mark Prior. Urias had struggled with his command. Prior realized Julio would drop his shoulder during his windup. He made Julio start pitching from the stretch all the time.

Urias just blossomed before our eyes. H will nail down a starting spot in the rotation next season and he and Buehler will become a devastating lefty/Righty 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation. Still have 3 or 4 more solid to very good years left in Kershaw, and The Dodgers are going back to back.

To all the Dodgers haters out there just think of this, Dodgers won where MLB stopped allowing teams to watch live footage in dugout, thats huge, makes it even harder to win games. They won where MLB cracked down on cheating, trying to minimize it. No fans, no games at Dodger stadium where Dodgers rule. Getting tested every day for covid with non stop safety measures. You had to win the wild card series which can go either way for any good team. You had to win 13 games instead of 11. Dodgers won one of the hardest championships that any team can ever win.

you CANNOT delegitimize this win!!! this was one of the most challenging post seasons ever comprised.... it all comes down to smart management, endurance and commitment... and the dodgers did it all! congrats to LA, they deserve this. moreover....if you're really thinking the dodger are done... guess again...

Has any team earned or deserved it more than this group of Dodgers? Last few years we went into the belly of whale and did not come out until we were champions. Congrats boys for not giving up and over coming every obstacle. Baseball is a metaphor for life and that was a life lesson right there.

Every time I watch this. I get scared it's gonna end differently, and every time it ends, I tear up and start sobbing.

I come back to this video because it puts a smile on my face during these tough times and seeing that smile on Kershaw's face is priceless

Ganó 4 juegos en esta postemporada.. fue el pitcher más confiable del equipo.. nada mal.. Creo que ya rebasó al Toro Valenzuela en triunfos en postemporada, pero aún le falta mucho camino en su carrera.

Yes...very true. We think of the comraderie and the connection of the players working together as a unit, all towards a common goal. To be the best at what they do. And when you get to the top of the figurative mountain? You can shout out “we are the best”... And absolutely yes, tears of joy and triumph will flow...as they did when the last out was recorded, and when we relive this glorious moment...

Snell still can't believe they pulled him out of the game with 73 pitches and stellar performance.

I'm 14 years old, the same age my dad was when he watched the dodgers win in 1988. In 2017 and 2018, I was heartbroken. But now I can finally rest in my coffin knowing that I finally got to see the dodgers win the WS in my lifetime

Wow! A fantasy dream come true for Julio Urias.. So So So very happy for him and like Vinny would say... if you have a sombrero throw it high in the sky.

Anyone notice the games Barnes caught were fantastic. Barnes called almost perfect games. He is so underrated.
