There wasn’t a prime or peak ninja that could’ve touched him. Even Naruto needed to directly get boosted by Big Daddy Six Paths himself. I do imagine he’d reach top 5 depending on how far his MS evolved. At some point it’s just an Uchiha party+Naruto in the top 5 lol. Madara Obito Itachi Sasuke Naruto in whatever order. I do believe dual MS on Obito probably claps DMS on Kakashi just because Obito was already above Kakashi after his training with Madara.

He knows at what stage Planetary Devastation can be destroyed and how. And he used the raven he kept inside Naruto - a long anticipatory step he had prepared, albeit for a different purpose - to break free. Like Sun Tzu said: know the enemy and know yourself, you will never be in peril in a hundred battles.

He wasnt prepared or like that. He just guessed those jutsus to work and it did work. U are talking as if nagato was supposed to be the winner if he werent prepared. Man itachi needed to save naruto and killer bee who were literally doing nothing in front of nagato. After that he predicted possibilities to work. Like using amaterasu on summonings. He also used those susanoo blade thingys to work on that tremendous chibaku tensei. After that u simply sealed nagato through totska blade

He even said “it seems like that sphere has high gravitational force” and then automatically came up with a plan to counter it. That’s just how smart he was. So no, it wasn’t lazy writing. And also, the fact that it wasn’t showed on screen doesn’t mean he never saw him fight, it’s really nonsensical to think like that since not everything was showed, and there was even a timeskip in Naruto. But anyways, again, it was showed as reactionary, like he figured it out on the spot.

Damn if only Nagato weren't disabled during his prime, he could be the strongest shinobi of all time Jiraiya was really a great teacher

@@foty8679 Well actually taking them back to Konoha would have been a bad idea because the higher ups (government) there would for sure have used Nagato (rinnegan) for their own selfish political agendas, and there's only so much Jiraiya can do to prevent that from happening since he is merely a soldier. Jiraiya knows that, so once he trained them up he left them to carve their own path. But leaving them was a mistake, what he really should have done was leave Konoha himself to protect and guide the Ame orphans on their path.

@@atube9190 Agreed Nagato in his own control (Even Healthy Nagato vs Healthy Itachi) can beat Itachi anyday after All that's freaking God's Dojutsu Rinnegan backed by Uzumaki genes, but in that moment Itachi did save Naruto and through that the whole world eventually. Saving Naruto was bigger feat there by Itachi than later on stopping Edo Tensei which was totally meaningless anyway, not single Edo Tensei Shinobi killed any named Character during whole War

@@wavyiann9788 Definitely Itachi & Kakashi are smarter than their opponent, But Itachi had Free Will Nagato's Body was Puppet Controlled by Kabuto who was utter noob with Rinnegan compared to what Nagato himself can do, it wasn't even Itachi vs Nagato (Kabuto) was fighting it 1on3 lol. And Obito purposely let Kakashi Chidori him to break his seal on Heart planted by Madara so he could become 10 Tails Jinchuriki. That was his sole purpose of his reason to fight, Kakashi was his key.

but having it in six different bodies has advantages. shared visual range. which also makes it super hard and prevents damage to nagato directly. its more op to think that he could use the six paths of pain and then if you ever forced it just fucking bum rape you up front on his own.

@@Valhallen002 eh, he may not has susanoo but he could easily come up with other shit given rinnegan lets you use any chakra nature and apparently kekkei genkai. also rinnegan isnt a uchiha thing. more of an otsutsuki thing. that just so happens can be evolved from a dojutsu the uchiha got. madara only got rinnegan due to hacks.

Just imagine how painful it was for Nagato, he rinne-rebirthed all konoha and died as Naruto promised him that he will stop all wars and hate and the next thing he knows he is reanimated and fighting in a war.....

Itachi and Nagato just coaching Naruto through the fight is actually so endearing

it was said by Kabuto himself that his second strongest revived (after Madara, of course) was Nagato. I always come back to this fight to see just how OP full power Nagato could have been. He took down 2 of the most powerful jinchurikis of the time in a matter of seconds, that isn't something anyone (not even Kage-level ninjas) can achieve in such a casual way. His rinnegan control was superior to Sasuke and Madara (to be fair, Madara only acquired the rinnegan in his last moments of life, and he only got to use it in the war. Meanwhile Nagato got the rinnegan for all his life) and they were already prodigies on their own. He could have been a great resource in the fight against Madara if Itachi figured out a way to liberate him as well.

FancyMatt thus wasn't exactly what he foresaw. He thought Sasuke would attack the village after gaining the eternal mangekyo sharingan (his own mangekyo and Itachi eyes). He prepped the crow for that.

I love the way how Itachi and Nagato were sooo polite when they saw Naruto again.

A friendly reminder that they were actually telling Naruto and Bee what they were going to do and how to counter them and they still ended up clapping both Naruto and Bee until Itachi broke free. Those two really are on another level.

Itachi really was the mvp for this early half of the war,saving the lives of Naruto,Bee and Sasuke and ending the reanimation,what a great way to redeem himself after all the wrong he did.

Jaevon Ingram for sure. Itachi was a softy but he kept that Lowkey. Even when capturing jinchuriki he didn't really participate in the fighting mostly. Against Jiraiya he fled. And everyone else Kisamé soloed. Also at some point Kisamé vs itachi did happen and Kisamé won

exactly. but itachi did kinda possess uber tier shit. kotoamatsukami crow. tsukuyomi amaterasu yata mirror tutska blade. yataka beads. multiple nature releases at a high level. his regular sharingan genjutsu worked on mangekyo sharingan users when he had his mangekyo out. keep in mind sasuke didnt break tsukuyomi. itachi didnt use it. itachi was smart as fuck but also super strong and edo tensei itachi isnt sick meaning no twice the chakra for every jutsu and more stress on his body and shit. meaning a healthy itachi had a chance of not getting obliterated before losing to nagato who could just rip out his soul.

Everything has a weakness. Itachi showed that Chibaku Tensei is not so strong once he pointed out that when the Black Sphere is thrown it needs time to pull everything to the center - including any powerful long range attacks that will simply destroy the sphere and stop the whole Chibaku Tensei. Most of Nagato's enemies panicked after seeing Chibaku Tensei, but Itachi showed how necessary it is to stay calm when analyzing. When Itachi fights, he aims towards his enemies' weaknesses, which gives him the ability to defeat enemies stronger than he is.

Itachi has 3 things: 1) very hax moves (Tsukuyomi, Susano'o, Totsuka,and Co) 2) genius level basic abilities (his speed is good enough to keep up with KCM Naruto, his Taijutsu is good enough to keep up with Killerbee, and his shuriken/kunai skills are without equal which allowed him to blind the Rinnegan summons and get Nagato from behind). 3) genius level intellect (allowing him to break free of Edo Tensei via planning ahead, figuring out the weakness of Chibaku Tensei mid battle and so on).

No because Itachi has shitty chakra reserve not because of his illness, he nas naturally low reserves. Also even when he had unlimited chakra, unlimited susanoo etc he had to tag with Sasuke to bet Kabuto, Kabuto was toying with both of them. And the worst is that Izanami works only on bad people, Itachi doesn't know Izanagi. Itachi is not that strong, he can't maintain Susanoo for too long, he has even difficulty to maintain Susanoo incomplete forms, he can cast amaterasu only a few times. He is almost blind and it will never change since he would never take Sasuke's eyes.

He could have sealed nagato when he had naruto and killer bee at his mercy showing his lack of battle iq. I do not see a healthy itachi beat any truly overpowered characters. Edo itachi is pretty much peak itachi. Sure he is at 80% but he has unlimited chakra and some sort of immortality. Itachi would lose to byron naruto, isshiki, jigen, kaguya, sasuke, juubi madara and more. Itachi at 80% is as almost as fast as kmc 1 naruto. The sharingan filled the gap. Someone like minato can easily outspeed him given that minato managed to move his body 180 while 8 gates gai was barely advancing who by the way is much faster than kmc 1 naruto.

@@mkz4383 no. He has no battle iq. Didn't seal nagato when he was in his blind spot, which almost lead to their defeat. Kakashi as well. Could have oneshot tendo the same way he did vs kakuzu, but he used his element of surprise to grab the rod tendo held.

From 5:50 to 8:00 you'll see why Itachi/Nagato were the most feared/powerful Akatsuki members... Nagato effortlessly had Naruto and bee struggling for their lives in their kcm1 and ver.2 forms with ease... then out of nowhere a susanoo sword from itachi crushes nagato in seconds😂 ... Nagato/Itachi were on another level and would've been a much better match up for Madara then the 5 kage💯😂😂😂

When Killer Bee and Naruto became side protagonists… The fact that Itachi and Nagoto knew every Jutsu from the other, and were prepared show everything. Two of my favourite 3 shinobies with obtio showed really nice performance. My favourite fight in this series.

When you realise it took the 2 strongest perfect Jinchuriki and Itachi with unlimited chakra just to take down Nagato. Easy to see why Itachi wasn't willing to try and take him out while he was alive.

He wasn’t even at full power he still was crippled after absorbing bee and unable to use his legs. Imagine him without crippled legs and movement. He would be insanely powerful honestly. He really was nerfed for plot tbh

@Skyblue Flash Man yall excues kill me😂. Nagato was immortal with infinite chakra. The jutsu made him attack automatically with his strongest moves. 😂😂😂😂 nothing was distracting him

Can you imagine if they were summoned as a friendly force? Together they'd absolutely WRECK enemies, i mean they are one of the strongest Sharingan and Rinnegan Users.

Love the fact that as time progresses people are realising the worth of nagato and the admiration is growing... came here for my yearly watch of this epic fight and the comments suggest that people now understand what nagato is which wasn't there when i last visited the comments section a year ago. Overwhelmed with people praising my favourite character in the entire anime world.

Man. Nagato was almost a match for killer bee, kcm naruto and itachi with stamina. What an underrated beast

@@jamesali8476 obito even said that he wouldn't be able to beat Itachi. That's one of the reasons why he didn't let Itachi know that he knew his secret because he knew Itachi would kill him. Tho 10 Tails Jinchuriki Obito would be stronger of course, if that version of Obito is who u mean...

@@jamesali8476 nope. Obito wasn't that strong He was the 3rd strongest with both Itachi and nagato above him. the only reason obito never revealed himself was because he feared he would be seen as weak. Itachi would probably win against obito because of his intellect

Nagato would stomp Obito. While Obito was truly OP but nagato probably knew how kamui works (because Konan did) and would thus be at a disadvantage. And then comes the fact that a prime nagato would simply be broken. The rinnegan gives acces to all chakra natures (nagato was shown using them in the filler about his past) so this technically means that nagato also has access to all the kekkei genkais as they are nothing more than a combination of different chakra natures. So with enough training nagato would have had access to OP shit like particle style. Now combine that with massive chakra reserves (he’s an uzumaki after all), the 6 paths powers and the 6 pains backing him up

Who else gets immense goosebumps whenever they hear Pain’s theme

Naruto : "Hey ,Nagato before you disappear due to Itachi's sealing sword of susanoo, can you tell me your last name? Just curious" Nagato "Yeah,.. sure. It's Uzu....." **vanishes**

What I like most about Killer Bee vs Itachi is that it shows the difference between the fighting style of Sasuke and Itachi. Killer Bee knows his swordstyle will overload the sharingan just like it did against Sasuke, but Itachi isn't as arrogant : instead of using some kunais or shurikens against the swords, he just dodges and back away everytime. He doesn't try to push because he knows Killer Bee is too strong with his swords. I like how his body reflex, as an edo tensei, was simply to get away and ignore Bee for a little while to instead focus on Naruto with his mangekyo.

Itachi and Nagato - the Greatest!!!

Itachi is such a badass it makes me sad we didn’t see more of him

The amount of Respect the 3 of them each showed Nagato at the end when he died was pretty cool.

When you realize that at this point bee and naruto were the strongest of their alliance but itachi and nagato handle them both without breaking a sweat...lol! No wonder both characters got nerfed in their alive forms. They're fucking strong af!

I am a big fanboy for nagato and he is truly strong but damn Itachi is a good man also dangerous man who can neat nagato

@@MikeSmith-sy8ck okey we dont know who wins nagato was underrated and itachi same but as we can see this episode itachi destroys nagato he didnt got any help from naruto and the other guy (forgot his name)he couldnt eskape the susanos sword (but as the eyes ye rinn>ms but susano counter him and he got more skills and the last the frickin AMATERASU if he didnt be on reqnimated progress he would die in real duel (sry for my english i was typing damn fast) but i still respect your opinion no one know the real power of those..
