It’s different here than in the manga in the manga shikamaru was smoking but in the anime they changed it to asuma I think

All Deaths are epic and emotional, but I like to extra mention Konan's. Her whole character development is awesome and even when she is one of my less likely Members of Akatsuki, I still honored her as an brilliant written character. Aber her Death is tragic and beaufitul at the same time, escpecially that she dies while fully believe in Naruto, who brings back light into her and Nagatos life ❤🔥

I love how every bit of animation (from the Golden age) looks like it has a story behind why it looks the way it does.

Itachi, Kisame, Sasori, Pain (Nagato) , Konan were the only akatsuki members I felt for. Not really villains, just broken hero's. all of them in some way were victims of the world of Shinobi. The rest of the Akatsuki were straight up crazy, only joining the organization for their own selfish reasons, which pain didn't mind as long as they completed their missions

I didn’t hate the akatsuki, I liked them and with half of their deaths, I was heartbroken

I gonna take a minute to talk about sasuke, kishimoto did a great job making him "overrated" on purpose. Hear me out 1. He credited for unaliving zabuza, it was actually team effort led by kakashi 2. He credited for unaliving dedidara, but deidara did it to himself sasuke simply just survived 3. He credited for unaliving danzo, but danzo did same thing deidara did just different way and sasuke just surviving bcos obito yell for him to get away 4. He credited for unaliving itachi but itachi was sick and knew the fight will be his demise

Always getting goosebums when I'm seeing the itachi scene

Konan's death made me pretty sad, I always liked her as a character and thought she'd play a role in the future, until Obito quite literally choked the life out of her. That moment made me realize just how evil Obito had become. Peace to Konan 🙏

I used to think that Konan was weak but when I saw her fight against Obito, like him having to use the Izanagi and losing his Sharingan and everything, I was awestruck.

This got me ready to start over again😂

Every member was either killed or killed themselves. Kisame, Nagato, and Deidara killed themselves. Pain, Konan, Hidan, Sasori, Kakazu and Obito were all killed....... Itachi was the only one who died of natural causes, that being his sickness... he’s also the only undefeated member.

Konan: Just wanted peace. Nagato: Just wanted others to understand his pain. I’d revise those because Konan was closer to Yahiko’s point of view. She wanted peace and would constantly question Nagato’s decisions as he was doing monstrous things. Nagato wanted peace abstractly - as a consequence of people experiencing each other’s pain.

Deidara - True art is a explosion 🔥He was the coolest villain of akatsuki but he don't get any appreciation 🥲 he was freaking good 🔥

Kisame death was the best. No extravagant monologue, no bs. He knew it was over and said peace out.

Nagato may have been a villain, but he did speak the hard to believe, but saddening, and heartbreaking truth. Plus, giving his life for Konaha, that's why I felt kind of sad about his death.

To this day I still hate Konan’s death out of all of these. It was a pure Plot progression death and a cheap way for Obito to get the rinnegan. If Obito could do such deadly genjutsu why didn’t he use any of them in the war? Literally not a single Genjutsu except the moon eye plan itself. And on top of that Konan was never ever mentioned beyond this point. Nagato didn’t even mention that he seen her in the afterlife when he was revived. She was literally just tossed away as a character. I would’ve rather have her experience the peace era and even see her in the Boruto series or something.

Akatsuki is the type of villains that we can't hate, each one of them has a unique ability and a great storytelling from the very start. Most of them died on the unexpected ways, not only by getting killed by the main character. That's what makes Naruto Shippuden easily become one of the best anime of all time.
