Game Changer. Speaking of which, I just watched this season for my sister in exchange for her watching Survivor Pearl Islands. The "strategy" in this season was like Borneo level strategy. Not voting out Alaska at the end was ridiculous. Even if they wanted the best players to be in the finale, then Roxxxy should have gone home. Alyssa got screwed by dumb players.

But I think Alyssa can handle criticism fine. Detox agreed with Phi Phi’s comment about Alyssa’s catwalk looks (I’m not American so I don’t use that word “runway!”) which is fine, and Alyssa actually doesn’t argue with that. She takes umbrage at the comment of throwing Roxxxy under the bus.

@@Malfoy1594 she didn't seem to say anything false or something that was a personal attack at all. Alaska even said she agreed with her. She said Alyssa's concept was cool but poorly executed and that it annoyed her that the judges were saying it was OK because she's Alyssa. The judges were in fact saying that and I can see how that can be very annoying. She then got really defensive when she was confronted because she was probably mad the producers were asking her to go off on her thoughts about Alyssa to create that drama. I'm not a phiphi fan at all but this drama did seem very edited to make phiphi look like a bitch for having a valid opinion. In no way does this compare to the personal attacks she had on willam or Sharon back in season 4. What she said here was pretty reasonable. I just think drag race is not the best environment for phiphi, she doesn't seem to handle the pressure well.

But PhiPhi only said it because she thought she wasn't being listened to. Ironically she screamed like crazy at Sharon on S4 because Sharon came up to her & said "I want you to hear this from me..." and we all know how that turned out.

@@Malfoy1594 what would be the point of saying it to Alyssa? Have you never shared an opinion about someone with a third person? It's a normal thing to do. Doesn't make you fake it a bitch, it's just unnecessary to say something mean to someone's face just because you think it. It wasn't malicious. Plus everyone has confirmed she was going on because the producers kept asking her to. It's pretty evident by the way it is cut that there are chunks of that conversation that were edited out.

Can you imagine being a cameraman in that moment, knowing exactly what was going to happen?

Phi Phi is good at trying to deflect, in reality SHE was the one trying to play the victim. You can't run off at the mouth because you think someone isn't present and then when they hear you and want to confront your ill feeling towards them, gas light them like they're being confrontational. Alyssa chose fairly the entire time and had valid reasons with her decisions. And Ginger Minj is such a pick me and just wanted a moment because this situation had nothing to do with her.

She can send home whoever she wants, btu the problem with PhiPhi is she is insecure and needs validation and to get it she'll get mean and nasty and bend the truth. After she got Alyssa gone, she tried to smear her to the other girls to make herself look/feel better not knowing Alyssa would confront her about it. Alyssa didn't give a damn if she thought her outfit was bad, just like she told Ginger I thought you were worse so I sent you home. She cared about Phi Phi saying (incorrectly!) that she was being sneaky and throwing people under the bus etc. So she wanted to clear the air and Phi Phi couldn't handle it and started getting all agressive and talking about victim etc. Phiphi does this on and off the show. But we all have flaws and no one is perfect.

If I was Jaremi, as soon as I saw the writing on the wall about the story the producers had set out for me, I would have played into it. I would have been the biggest, campiest villain of the entire franchise. Jaremi came in wanting a redemption storyline and it's not unfair to say that he was led down the wrong path by the producers, but it's also not unfair to say that reality television is not where he thrives. He thrives when able to showcase his art in his own way

Agreed. Reality TV is one of those things where you have to work really hard to control your own narrative, but ultimately it will never fully happen. (See Willam during S4 -- she played her own game and it was still covered up with a fake story lol) I'm not gonna say this moment wasn't edited to portray a certain angle, but again you have to anticipate that. Jaremi unfortunately didn't. I do like him and appreciate his art, and I hope he's in a better place and doesn't ever trust these producers to do right by him again lol
