@@tigremalabarista3461 Absolutely, she was being warmed up to take it at the end and rightly so, she's the most truly innovative queen in the AS2 line up. Alaska is talented, but it's all one note, Katya when she's on form is literally genius, truly, the flip side being when she's off, she's really off. Alaska herself said in interview that the producers told her Katya was the intended winner, until her 'I'll pay you $10,000 by papal' meltdown - that was the point they decided to give her the win.

It was OK. But Phi Phi did redeem herself after her flatlined Lady Gaga in season 4

Every time I hear the joke: “last time I went that high one of my dogs died” I cry of laughter. I loved her in the snatch game. There are queens I don’t even remember

I think the funny factor was due to Alyssa forgetting/not knowing that the catch phrase was "This ain't my first time AT THE RODEO". She just said the first thing that came to her head in classic Alyssa fashion and that's why it was hysterical.

@@cavalier9915 of course she knows the line, but she clearly forgot the rest of it (remember, it's a high pressure environment. you have to be quick and witty to make ru laugh). She said "at the snatch game" because, yes you're right, this isn't her first time, but I don't think she had any intention of being funny with that. That's why she's funny. When Alyssa tries to be funny, she just fails, but when she is herself, she's hilarious. and you know why she forgot? Because otherwise she would've said the complete sentence right away. Alyssa's impersonation was a one-trick pony. She only knew the lines from Mommy Dearest (that's not joan crawford, that's a character) and kept repeating them. It's funny because from the beginning you know she has no knowledge of who Joan Crawford was. But it works. She was hilarious. If she was deliberately trying to be funny, it wouldn't have worked because that's just who Alyssa is and why we love her.

@@vinigarcia7977 I'm with cavalier here. She knew the line but decided to say At the Snatch Game. Maybe the pause was to decide if she should say rodeo or SG. Either way, it worked. Guess we"ll never truly know

1. Alaska - Impression was spot on and had some great zingers. A masterful Snatch Game, one of the best (not my personal fav though) 2. Katya - I loved her battiness and just how alien her Bjork was. It was so random I laughed almost every time the camera was on her! 3. Alyssa - Maybe it wasn't AS accurate to Joan as they would have liked, but she was one of the funniest ones there. Robbed of a top spot. 4. Phi Phi - The "spirits" joke was funny at first, but it did get tired. She did a pretty bang on impression though. 5. Ginger - Tammy Faye is comedic gold, and she could have gone WAY farther with the impression. She had a couple decent lines though. 6. Detox - She wasn't as bad as her first Snatch Game, she had some fun interjections, but she was largely forgettable. 7. Tatianna - She was amazing as Britney because Britney had things to make fun of. Ari doesn't, really. Like before, she had a bang-on impression but not enough jokes. 8. Roxxxy - This was downright painful on every level. She didn't do a good impression, and she wasn't funny either. Should have stuck with Sofia Vergara.

@@666nanie yeah if Roxxxy didn't switch this could have been the best SG in herstory BY FAR - not a single queen would flop (except Detoxx being kinda meh and Tati breaking character) then again Roxxxy being a trainwreck (to Mae West's utmost annoyance) was funny :))

I personally enjoyed how RuPaul laughed the most in this one. It was joyous laughter and that's the best kind. I was disappointed in Tati and Roxxxy. And Detox, of whom I am a HUGE fan, started slow, but came through in the end. Katya is always amazing.
