FULL COUNT 0105 15Oz. RAW SELVEDGE DENIM JEANS REVIEW | Wide Leg Raw Denim

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Raw selvedge denim jeans and raw selvedge denim garments in general have long been popularized by the Osaka 5 of Japan, and have changed the game when it comes to American heritage workwear and style. The Osaka 5 is bred on the traditional ideals of American style, as well as the Japanese's keen eye for perfection and pinnacle tier craftsmanship, which inadvertently created the raw denim jean and raw selvedge denim we all know and love today.
Raw denim was renowned and coveted by these early Japanese denim brands, and they began taking their own step in originality to create their own spin; their own version of raw selvedge denim. One of these brands happened to be Full Count raw denim makers; one of the Osaka 5.
Full Count has long been famous for pioneering the idea of utilizing Zimbabwean cotton to manufacture selvedge denim garments, giving peak durability and an absolutely butter-soft feel. Fast forward to today, these jeans are just as amazing as they were back then. So today, we take a deep dive right into the Full Count 0105 15oz. Raw Selvedge Denim Jeans, with a wide leg fit.

I always find wide jeans drape better when they’re hemmed a bit short. My current favourite jeans are the at last & co 147s, definitely the best jeans i ever owned. It was a pain getting a pair, but it was 100% worth it.

I definitely recommend the high crotch pants for our endowed students to wear to class and they will love them for their size and the ability of their size to fit without having to stuff it down one leg

I've never even known about jeans differences much until a few weeks ago and by the help of your channel. I am a bit of a sasquatch, which makes finding clothes that fit me properly a challenge already, but clothes that last is where the real challenge comes in. I was looking for hemp jeans first, as it was supposed to last longer, but found nothing that fit me well. Don't get me wrong, average jeans brands will have sizes that fit me fine, it was just the choice for something as rare as hemp that limited my choices too much. Then I found out about raw denim supposedly lasting longer, and went on a little search and found the Chinese brand Sauce Zhan, and since they offered free returns I took the plunge. I can not make any guesses on how long they will last, but they sure have an exceptional quality feel, and seem to meet many of the details you are describing in your videos. Maybe they are worth your while to have a look at? I'm really curious to the scrutiny of a real denim head on them. 😊

I love comments like this! First off thank you so much for the love and support for the channel, and for your kind words I really appreciate them more than you know! 🥹 If you want to DM me on one of my other social platforms with your waist size I'm happy to see if I know of any brands that might be good for you if you need! Also interestingly enough, I have heard of the brand before, but I've never had a garment from them in person. I believe what caught my eye from them is one of their Sashiko pieces. I'd definitely love to try them out, especially since I feel like raw denim from China can be often overlooked even though they've made beautiful denim pieces in the past that I have seen. I'll definitely check them out one of these days! I hope I can continue to help you find clothes and denim brands that not only make you feel good and comfortable, but also that last and sit in your wardrobe for a while. Thank you again, truly! 🙌

@@AlejandroJomarThanks so much for getting back to me! I have always got W34 L34 from Wrangler as my work wear, but I could not cuff those as they would be too short for that. They are also a bit tight after washing, but they stretch out quite a lot, especially with the fabric they currently use, which is almost a lycra. From SauceZhan I went for the W36, straight fit with a 21cm hem. The total length in 115cm is perfect for me to put a single fold cuff in them of around one and a half inch. I have their Sauce Origin straight fit on the way now, with solid silver buttons and Gunze sewing thread, Japanese yarn, rainbow weft. It looks really well made and I suspect they will fit very well. I like a straight fit, but since I am an avid cyclist (live in the Netherlands) my legs are quite muscular and especially around the lower part of my leg many jeans sit too tight I don't like baggy fits either, but I need some space to not make them fit like jeggings. 😅
