@@RyanG2004 You can get a full combo without getting an SS by not doing good swings, the points you get for each song are based on how good your swings are, and on this song with how awkwardly the notes are placed it’s really hard to get good swings on them, so yeah it’s more than possible to get a full combo and less than an SS

@@whyiamalose that's not entirely how beat saber scoring works, the maximum score you can get for a note is 115, and 70 of those points are made up of the pre swing angle, and 30 out of the post swing angle, (how much you follow through), only 15 of the points are based off of how close to the middle you hit the note

This mapping is so unbelievably bad that it goes all the way around and becomes an unintentional masterpiece. Angel Voices is "The Room" of Beat Saber. I love this to DEATH. Should have called it ANGLE VOICES.

Thanks! I think it should be even easier to get a good score on this map now that we have the new static note offset adjustment in the base game. The main problem with this map IMO is that the notes spawn too far away by default.

I remember when I first tried this map. I can do most expert+ maps in the game. I remember not being able to do this and be so confused because it’s technically an easy map but I couldn’t do it. Took me so long to realise why it was hard

It's because of the mods I use. If you are on PC, you can get a mod called 'camera2' which allows you to set the FOV of your recordings to a higher value. You can also change the replay mode recording perspective in the settings for ScoreSaber.

I think a big part of what makes this hard - outside of cursed angles and weird parity, but that's just OST 1 mapping - is that the NJS is so low and the spawn distance is so high. I passed it a few months ago using a fixed .6sec spawn time, and it was so much easier than with the standard reaction time. (I have beat Ghost E+, but I struggled less with it than this.)

There are three songs I have yet to get a pass on in expert plus. Ghost, Spin Eternally, and this song. I’m currently working on beating Ghost, and have held off on this one since the mapping is so cursed.

I’m back to talk about this. So yeah, I kinda dropped Ghost and the game for the most part out of boredom and just lack of motivation to keep going. I still play the game from time to time though.

@@batsdomain7057 As someone who, from the time of writing that initial comment, has improved vastly, I can say that Spin Eternally is very much not harder than ghost. I can beat Spin Eternally rather consistently, and I have a high score of like 80 or 85%. My high score on Ghost is I think a 73%, and I play Ghost much more often than I do Spin Eternally. There's no flow to the map, it randomly switches between vocal and instrumental parts at random times and the note placement is very awkward making this map uncomfortable to play. 4:30 is an example

It also has bad default settings, so IMO requires some tweaking to make it feel more comfortable. In particular, the note jump offset is too high by default, so the notes feel cluttered and too many of them are visible at once. It can mess with your muscle memory when swinging.

With every song there is a pattern, a logical combination of moves that on expert plus is challenging but if you fail you it is because you are just not processing the blocks quick enough and are too slow. This map when you play it gives you the idea that you are having a seizure because the pattern doesn't make sense and you can't really anticipate on the next block. Beside the fact that it puts your wrists in awkward positions block after block. This sucks the fun out of it

It's because in replay mode the camera is moved backwards behind where you were standing when you played.

Haha, yeah it was a challenge, but it only took me 3-4 days of practice to do it I originally wanted to play with Strict Angles and Pro Mode modifiers, but I quickly learned that it would actually be so much harder to FC the map like that
