Number 1 made a great decision. He is looking for someone to marry. It would look pretty bad to know he was her second choice if they got engaged. Number 1 stuck with his principles and is not controlled by his sexual desire. She missed out on a great man with a funny personality.

Lolll.. you must still be a child at least mentally. It is because we all know that he would be a second choice as it is being aired on TV that you make this silly statement.. When you go for a regular date with any woman, how do you know that she hasn't dated 14 other men before agreeing to go on a date with you? How do you know how many sexual partners she's had before meeting you? The truth is that at that moment you don't care because she is there for you as you are for her and both of you are willing to try it out.. Number 1's response was immature and unnecessarily egotistic. He probably doesn't want to return to friends that would forever tease him for settling for second position re-enforcing my opinion of him and those who support his response as quite immature.

Personally in my assessment, I think she is more compatible with number 1. I won't say the number 1 was disrespectful by saying he is no longer interested. The truth is that he actually felt a strong connection with the lady. He was shocked to his spine when he wasn't taken by her. Steve Harvey is such a great guy. I live on the other side of the world but i love watching his show. Had a lot of sense and very fun.

my mom was my dad's 2nd choice & they've been married for over 35 yrs. Everyone's bashing the lady, but the 1st guy's pride (and ego) will keep him single. He most likely didn't have a connection w/her, cuz if he did he wouldn't care if he's her 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th choice... if he likes her, he'll be happy to go out with her. Remember what Steve always says: "Men are hunters" so, no matter how many times your prey escapes you.. you keep chasing until u got her!

No this guy only wanted sex with her not family bond because she has kids who are still underage and has to take care of them and number 1 wants to just take her and go to so many countries and just have sex year round. The guy who she went out on a date was really comfortable with her kids and doesn't want her just for sex. Agree with you. My husband use to cross a bridge to come to my house and i lived one hour away. Never did I hear him complaining. I was worth it to him. She needs to run. He is selfish and doesn’t want to but in any work on the relationship that’s why his other relationships didn’t last because all he did was think about himself. Is he crazy one hour is not that far. My man and I are 2.5 hours apart and we have been together for over a year. He does most of the driving because that is what he wants to do. So if you find a good one, don't let distance be the only reason you won't date him/her.

although all the guys and girls coming to steve's show are for sure desperate to the bottom and I pity them but for the first time liked this guy no#1 having atleast some self respect. kudos. hats off

I lived in Louisiana and my boyfriend at the time lived in Los Angeles California. He made time for me and asked me to marry him after three years. We have currently been married for 21 years and still going strong. If a man wants to invest in a relationship he will travel to the ends of the earth if he wants to be with you. His pride

An hour away is a problem? I'm from The Netherlands and my better half is from Sri Lanka. We lived 10.000 km / 6,000 miles away from each other while being in a relationship together, not knowing it would even take close to 8 years before my wife's documents were in place for us to be able to get married. God gave us true love for each other and the patience/persistence to not give up, although it has been tough at moments, especially if you have no idea if/when you will finally be (really) together. In the end, we got there. We married in 2015, now 7 years ago, and since then God has blessed us with 3 beautiful children. Don't worry about a little distance.... a (good) woman is more precious than rubies!

wait wait did i hear number 1 correctly?? mmmm ego is mixed with pride and will always shoot you in the foot...glad she didn't go out with number 1 ...growth is important and to have someone say something like that speaks volumes to his thinking...he just might be a nice person but smh life is too short to lead with ego/pride and it will never work in your favor to get what u want with that kind of energy put in the universe..this woman was very classy in her response though...glad she didn't react negatively cause it isn't worth it...
