A few years ago I dropped a video showing you all how to grow cacti from seed in a few simple steps, my goal was to show people out there around the world they could grow rare and unusual and hard to get plants themselves in there garages or closets and this box of plants is from a fan of the channel. Collins has actually become a buddy online over the past couple years and to get these awesome plants from his really made my day, week and month. They are beautifully grown and a perfect example of what's possible with a little passion and some seeds.

Dude PLEASE do an updated seed growing video, I'd love to see what you've changed about your method since 2021. I've got a bunch of Copiapoa seeds coming my way and I'm absolutely terrified I'm going to screw it up and get no germination lol

Rad to see others getting success from your method, I can attest to it's success as well. I got a seedling mat covered in copiapoa, neochilenia, and turbinicarpus babies. Some are getting grafted onto Trichocereus soon, which I'm very excited for, but most staying on their own roots. My first seedlings started in 2022 with your method are now in their own mini ceramics, which I feel is an accomplishment. Your method gave a higher germ rate compared to other methods I tried before solely sticking with your approach. I was wondering though, has anyone else had troubles with turbinicarpus from seed? My germ rates are much lower on turbinicarpus compared to copiapoa + neochilenia. Is the low germ rate a species characteristic or is it that turbinicarpus need a different soil composition, hydration amounts, or environmental conditions compared to the Chilean Cacti? All seed came from same vendor so I believe it's my technique or process and not seed quality, but I'm open to being wrong. My personal germ rate ranges for those wondering= Turbi.: 10-50%, Copi.: 50%-85%, and Neo.:80-95% Really awesome videos! I'm a long time viewer first time commenting, keep up the amazing work, it's inspiring!
