Eubanks has a lot of knowledge on the inside. I'd like to see him develop midrange jabs and more subtle steps, still a straight up beast.

Eubank is only putting half in . It's a video to make bjs feel more confident. Same as froch done against eubank jnr in that video that got George groves hopes up .Just don't think billy will fall for this.

markybyeah yes but eubank just seems to walk through punches, very hard for saunders to keep him off him, when he lets the hands go it could be lights out.

I agree with you. I think he just needs to spar with more southpaws. I felt like he got hit from the outside with things he probably could have easily defended. At times he didn't know the proper safe distances of the southpaw

Good sparing session love how eubank is letting the cameras in showing him train that shows the confidence of the man! I don't see billy uploading anything!

I like how he switches it an uppercut early on in the first round. Very quick and fluid there

it is good to try new things out I like how he is nice and relaxed he puts punches together well. It is good to see someone be abit flash it makes fights interesting need a few characters, he was obviously just having a bit of fun in there

Eubanks looks very good. I really like his inside work to the body and head. Good killer instinct when he gets his opponent along the ropes. He's got an excellent left-hook and ups. I look forward to seeing him move up in the ranks.

Bestbizpage he takes maybe six-eight shots to knock guys out on there feet. We are talking about awful opponents as well. Why is he so powerful? your talking like hes david haye or golovkin.

eubank snr is such a character

As a fighter, I know that in training and sparring is where mistakes should be made so they can be corrected for the fight. There's nothing wrong with getting caught with something as long as the trainer notices it and corrects it before the fight

I wouldn't look to deeply into this sparring session people. Been around long enough now to understand that this guy first is a light heavyweight so there will be an element of speed missing, also billy joe wont be half as strong physically in the fight. This sparring session is made so people can pick flaws and have an idea of what to expect on the night, massive mistake. It's sparring, fight night will be a totally different thing, guaranteed..

Eubank is a beast and very cool calm and collective

he's sparring a good up and comer called tariq quaddus. they should drop that orthodox to southpaw shoulder roll stance though - both taking a lot of shots in that guard. even floyd uses high guard vs southpaws.

also will like to see the defensive skills he picked from the mayweather gym in vegas

Young Eubank clearly just trying things out in this sparring session. His sparring with Froch was much more intense.

Froch got caught by Eubank in their sparring session. It's just sparring. You can't say what's going to happen in the fight based off of this.

The guys he's sparring is a guy called Tariq, quality quality up and coming fighter, watched his last fight in Swindon. Tariq done very very well in this, must be nerve wracking sparring someone about to go into a world title eliminator but he done a great job, more than held his own in the center, the only issue was when eubank backed him up onto the ropes and let his hands go.

he`s sparing a light heavyweight , doesnt seem too be much in size ! still think and hope saunders will do the buiz though :)

they need to get him better sparing to raise the level for world title shots

Seconds out looks like he is doing pretty good to me

Saunders will win on points... Eubanks good but Saunders has more experience at the higher level.. He's also razor sharp with counters and footwork.. Eubank will get frustrated when he's unable to look good when missing with shots and getting caught when posing.. Will lose him the fight

Billy Saunders doesn't spare like this, he comes forward behind 1 s and 2s I think team Eubanks should have a sharper sparring partner to emulate bill

I wish Eubank could utilize his jab more

I'm a huge fan of Jr... but... he has a habit of pausing when he gets clipped...i guess it's a fight of who throws the better combos with a better punching,exit strategy imo. So much stamina! strength!. But mind boggled when hit...a boxer like jr shouldn't get hit...but this a sport of hit and get hit n hit n runs...but never get stationary in the advantage of a hard counter!!!

It's only a week to fight night so it's a routine spar. Polishing up.

He looked the real deal in there. Let's be honest. But Saunders is no mug. Eubank looked good at the higher pace. But he's gonna have to do this for 12 rounds next week.

Looks like he needs to learn how to circle to his left and keep lead foot control

looks like a session where Eubank is stuck in first gear. i like a lot of his ability but he seems to throw his shots but then stand flat footed in the danger zone with no urgency to defend or retreat. this can only lead to bad things

My assessment: Eubank Jr is most dangerous when he puts his shots together but he also seems vulnerable to the jab the body. Conditioning seems to be decent His sparring partner is either legit or Eubank Jr could have a tough night against Saunders. He shouldn't be getting hit so much.

BILLY JOE SAUNDERS VS EUBANK

So now it takes two men to put a pair of gloves on Jnr and tape them up. When you don't even give your child his own name, and instead give him a title which always ensures you are his senior, it suggests you've got an ego problem, and Eubank Senior's behaviour between rounds confirms that he can never be Junior's 'second'. My humble advice to Junior is that he should be his own man.

i enjoyed watching that. but not sure why the sparring partner kept letting him off the ropes instead of pressing.

I am supporting eubank jnr just saying he looks like he just wants to throw power shots but I don't think he will get the win trying to land big as opposes more volume, as it is a 10 or 12 rounder

Eubank Jnr needs to off load his dad, the Eubank corner in the Saunders fight was a complete shambles...Go to another trainer and I believe he will come on leaps and bounds. Even when he spars in this video he hardly moves to his left which you should do against a southpaw.

Eubank will be eating stiff jabs all night against Saunders

Rough Sparring Session however both fighters lack proper head movement and neither show the proper mechanics of inside fighting nor setting up their punches by using feints or drawing the opponent. Nearly every punch thrown full measure, very predictable.
